Cleaned up my original headlights, taillights and side markers.

Wasn’t a fan of the original look when I bought the car but something has changed.
I’m thinking about putting them back on and going “full amber”.

Love it! I've kept my amber lights because I like them. So classic to my 99 C2. Do it...

Do it!!!

I never understood the silver side marker thing. I know people have been permabanned from RL for disparaging silver side markers, but I will not be silenced .

I think I'm a purist, I like Porsche's to be as close to factory as possible. So yes, good job!!!

Picked up my car from the indy after having a very small coolant leak fixed that I just couldn't find on my own. He said they just tightened all of the clamps. On the way home I passed a Rolls Royce SUV. At first I thought someone had just added a custom grille to a regular SUV but I Googled it when I got home. It's a thing... a $350k+ thing.

My original 22 year old 'amber' turn signal bulbs were showing their age so I replaced them.

The only replacements I had in stock were LED and noticeably brighter. LED is on the right.

LED on the right obviously but not as glaringly bright as it looks in this pic.

Here's a small one. Was looking for a silicon key cover/protector but could only find a hard plastic one on ebay. It's the only one I could find for the "one-button" remote. Was pleasantly surprised at the fit, quality and shows the Porsche crest. $20 shipped and comes in a few colors (except black so I got the CF).
Ebay seller: "pakcee" (not my ebay store)

Found out that replacement parking brake pads need some filing before installing. Oh and that FCPEuro sent me the wrong front pads after I had already installed the R front disc. But at least 3 of 4 brakes have the wear sensors cut and soldered so that’s done...

What brand shoes did you buy that needed filing?

Cut and soldered? I'm obviously missing something here...

Textar - part of a full replacement kit

Cut the brake sensor wires a couple inches from the connector and solder together. Eliminates the connection to the pads, so you need to make sure that you are on top of the wear. I also reused the old anti-squeal inserts without the adhesive so that I can change pads without removing the caliper.
