I bought my OEM Porsche Aerokit II Sideskirts from Sunset Porsche 2 years ago during Black Friday sale and saved a ton!
They ended up as cheap as aftermarket, but fit perfectly without any modifications.

While waiting for the 2x rubber grommets (999-500-206-00) to replace the the old ones which disintegrated when I removed the Smog pump to fit the new engine motor mounts - I decided to clean the airbox while off the car. It's a good job I did!
Quite a bit of sand in the snorkel and in the lower part underneath the filter, I guess due to the car being in AZ for the last 15 years. A dead wasp and twigs also removed .
Paper filter was dirty. (ordered new K&N from Amazon).
More concerning, the lower bolt holding the MAP sensor was missing. I dread to think how much Arizona sand leaked thru the hole... Ordered two new bolts (999-919-160-07) from local Porsche dealer.
Q: There is a compartment on top of the airbox that hits a dead end. What is this for? To create turbulence to help mix in gasoline later on?

@Cityfisher
The upper cubby I sourced directly from the local dealer for about 40 euros. They had the best price.
The lower cubby I also replaced since my old one was cut up. These are cheap on eBay as much less in demand vs. the upper one.
I think this setup looks decent and more importantly gives much needed space for phone(s), wallet etc., specially on cars without a glovebox like mine. With the Aux cable right there it's the perfect place to drop in the phone.

Oh..forgot to add..is the K&N filter one of those that require oil? Not a good idea as the oil coats the MAF sensor and ruins it. Only use a paper filter.
