That's actually perfect, thank you for sharing that! I did a quick google search and for some reason that never popped up, just a bunch of used black consoles that had wear.
I've upgraded the exhaust, radio, and a few other components but kept all the OEM that will of course be sold with the car when / if that time ever comes.
I've actually gotten conflicting info on whether my 2000 C4 Cab will take the EUR917 or EUR776 up front. Tire Rack says the EUR917 will fit but AMZN and Akebono says only the EUR776 will fit.
When I was researching, I would say about 75% of suppliers list the 917 pads and 25% the 776. I went with the 776 pads because of the reduced unsprung weight.
Despite taking all precautions and due diligence with maintenance, I had a catastrophic radio **** failure. Whether you call it **** Leprosy, the Black Gooey Death, or Schwetty *****, it's embarrassing and nasty. I 3D printed some replacements and now my car can run faster and jump higher.
Had it cut off on me while at a stop light. Light turned green and it suddenly died. I'm not even sure if I had even put it in 1st gear yet maybe just pressed the clutch and then all of the sudden it cut off. Everything looked fine on my dash, battery was reading 14v, Idle was just under 800rpm, coolant temp was right around 180, oil pressure was pegged at 1. Tried to crank it a few times with no luck and then waited 2 maybe 3 minutes and boom started right up. I know its not the battery bc I just put in an AGM interstate battery last night. Could this have anything to do with the ignition switch?

Start a new thread with your issue. You'll get more answers. I would start with the last thing you did - the battery. Make sure the connections are tight.

I had gooey *****, too, but no 3D printer. Alcohol bath took care of it.

Same here, so I just bought OEM replacement ***** (they came in sealed Porsche branded plastic bags) 4 months ago for a ridiculous price ($41.67 including tax &"free" shipping) off of eBay.

I have an aftermarket radio in mine.(installed by the PO)
Can you post the .STL in case someone else needs them?

"..Hi, my name is Eddie, and I too spent stupid money on a pair of OEM replacement *****. Suncoast got my money..."
In retrospect, I should have tried the alcohol bath thing, too... Like Woodman71 did. I've used that method in the past, but had mixed success (and the failures were sometimes catastrophic as the alcohol would deteriorate the plastic finish under the coating.) But, this could have been a good last ditch "Let's find out before spending $17.50/****" effort.
Added an old school touch to my console. It had been painted in silver Plastidip but was looking kind of tired. I really like this fabric and may add some more accents. Not sure where.
Just pressure tested the engine in my 2000 C4 Cab w/the new oil cap adapter and manometer that I recently purchased/received from @TexSquirrel and AMZN (respectively) and got a reading of between 4.6-4.7
Desired reading is between 4-7 InH20, So, no need to worry about replacing the AOS w/the UAOS now.

Also just received the last of the parts that I need to do the complete brake job on my car and will be making an appt w/my Indy in a couple of days to get the job done.
