Nope. Not my car. But that’s just me.

I use a pressure washer with a soap dispenser for low pressure coverage, use the lowest pressure water setting, use a leaf blower to dry, and then use microfiber towels to finish drying. Takes about 20 mins to wash the outside and another 15 mins to get the insides of all the outside parts (hood, engine cover, and door sills).

They're great...for our minivan.
My 996 gets the foam cannon if it is real dirty, followed by 3-bucket method.
Otherwise it gets an Obsessed Garage style rinse-less wash in the garage.

There is a PCA club member that takes his 100% eXpel covered GT3 through the car wash.
He said, "why not, it's not going to touch the paint."

Foam cannon as in:
Use a foam cannon attached to my pressure washer to apply the soap and let it soak.
Repeat as many times as necessary, then rinse.
Then if necessary, I'll continue with an Obsessed Garage 3-bucket method wash.
Then I use spray wax as a drying agent.
That wax, and the ceramic coating underneath, makes it easier to clean the next time.

If the car is not REAL dirty, I usually do a rinse-less wash Obsessed Garage style (Optimum No Rinse and LOTS and LOTS of microfiber cloths)

Default Cheers to NAD.

Love the NAD (& the vintage marantz). I always got such a full sound from my old NAD integrated and miss it. Had it repaired twice before my stereo guy finally said that the board was cooked and nla.

sounds like a good day. Cheers.

The key to a great Bloody Mary has always been fresh lime juice. The Greeks knew it, the Carthaginians knew it, now you know it.

Mr Le does the turnaround really quickly. Gray leather matches superbly. Lathewerks did the topper.

^ I'm a big fan of foam cannons, too. I have a Veloci foam cannon that works with an electric 1350 psi harbor freight model.
As I don't goof up the water / boat wash ratio in the resevoir, works perfectly

I have one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WPKHFA6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WPKHFA6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought it back in January 2018.
It works great, and the $17 price couldn't be beat.

In a desperate move this winter I took my TSX through a touchless car wash and picked the "Gentle Touch" option. Big mistake. As the machinery went back and forth over my car it left a rub mark/scratch from the passenger front fender all the way to the rear brake light. The 996 (or any other vehicle in my possession) will never see an automatic car wash.

Went for a fun twisty drive in the foothills after a week of not driving!

But...

The wife drive the whole way.

She got pissed after the fourth time I told her not to shift from 1 to 2 until at least 3300 RPM or so.

I cringed a couple times when she kept it in 3rd at around 2300 instead of downshifting...but kept quiet.

Told her not to even bother with 6th gear when we got on the freeway...

Car did great, but boy it is hard to be a passenger!

Would really like to learn more about how you fixed the roof rack channel parts! Did you post about it or learn from another thread? Thanks!

This is what I used. There's a more toxic one that I used in the past, but couldn't find it.
