Picked up my new (to me) car today! Very happy, due to my travel schedule, parts shipping delays and a holiday vacation from my indy tech, it took almost a month to get my car ready. But it is done (IMS/RMS/clutch etc.) and is great! Put about 50 miles on it today, on suburban Chicago roads, which are similar to any third-world country that was previously a major battle zone. Now to start cleaning up some minor issues and I will have a fun driver.

I actually like the feel of my 3 spoke but wish it was a little smaller in diameter. My toy cars always get steering wheel, shifter and exhaust upgrades but I'm having a tough time deciding what to change on the 996 as it's pretty darn good as is. I do need to get my suspension done before anything first, getting some creaking.
Let us know how you like the MOMO upgrade (I have one on my speedster and love it)

Is the new oil filler tube o ring in the bag right of belt? 😎 getting that rear bolt started took some patience, but easier than removing alternator.

Thank you Ratchet! Working on the pics, for some reason I'm having issues with uploading them. Will figure it out...

i didn’t think it’s possible to remove oil filler tube without removing the alternator. Thx for the heads up, I will take a good look at it again before I remove the alternator. Yes small bag in between oil filler pipe tub & drive belt are o-rings for filler pipe tube.

sorry, was talking about oil filler tube bolt. Alternator absolutely comes out, though I didn't remove throttle body or intake plenum...

This fix was a pain for me...definitely had to remove the throttle body and the plenum and it still took me almost 2-1/2 hours to replace my oil filler tube. Way to go 85 on getting the part in without all the disassembly!

Cup lip spoiler. Not sure I like it astheticly yet, but I'm sure it will function well.😎

Should help keep front planted
