Stopped my cabrio top squeaking by applying some Gummi Pflege to the seals. Stopped my suspension squeak by spraying AT-205 on my shock top mounts. Gonna miss those little squeaky bastards ... not.

Replaced my injectors. Test drive was great! Car didn't even catch fire.

You must not have used the Ferrari fuel injectors.

The Soul stuff does look nice, they are local to me as well but all the exhaust stuff for this car is so expensive.

Absolutely beautiful, but do they really weigh the same as the OEM lug bolts?

Gorgeous! Did you put anti-seize on them? https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-you-know.html

It's 11.5oz vs 1 pound 1.5oz, or 17.5oz, so saving roughly half a pound on each corner.

No anti-seize!

But I was in the middle of eating Buffalo wings, so the threads have some Buffalo sauce and a little blue cheese on the threads.

Same thing. Based on current fridge inventory, that stuff never breaks down, so you should be all set

Default In the middle of muffler mod

My stock mufflers have rattling baffles so I scored both used stock mufflers and used fabspeed maxflows. I sourced new connection clamps for the mufflers and tips, but didn’t count on both short bracket bolts breaking, so I bought those on auction site tonight. I’m gonna coat everything in copious amounts of copper anti-seize schmoo on the reinstall and hopefully she’ll be a skookum choocher in a few days. In the mean time, I’ll ignore the weeping oil that may be a RMS future situation.

Love it!

I wonder how many on here will know the source.

Removed the manual tray from below the steering wheel. I tried pushing the pressure clips in but after exerting enough force to seemingly put a hole in my hand, I gave up and grabbed a drill. I started a 3/32's and work my way up until they gave way. Probably took 5 minutes. I'll fill the holes with caps that I'll color match with satin latex paint at some point soon.

2004 996
I moved my 996 off the top rack to load my coyote swap Mustang Cobra for storage while engine harness work is being done.

Good news is now I will drive my 996 a little more.
