I opened the frunk after being parked under a tree for three days. Damn, for a car with what seems to be have small panel gaps, sure were a lot of leaves in there!

^^^ That's why the drain ports get clogged up so easily! I think the rear ones on the cabrio are even worse... Owners beware!!!!

Drove it for the first time in months and for the very first time without misfires in the nine months I've owned it!!!
(for those who weren't following the saga, this is the car from the "Baffling Fuel Injector Faults and Misfires" thread that vexed everyone for months and months. I only just picked it up today because I was waiting on AOS, coolant expansion tank, and oil pressure sensor replacements)

Default Put the engine back in!

Labored all day and finally got the engine back in and heard it run for the first time in months!

Engine back where it belongs... in the back. Ha ha.

My wife and I took the car to the beach today for lunch at the Galway Bay Restaurant in Ocean Shores, WA. We took the looong way, via the Wynoochee Valley Road to the Wynoochee Dam and then on to the beach. ALL back roads going out. 237 mile round trip. The car ran great. Had a tiny bit of rain while in the mountains, but only enough to have to use the wipers occasionally. I will have to get up early tomorrow and wash the car. What a great drive.

Amen. These cars are meant to be driven. I changed the air filter to K and N, new center caps and Porsche fitted rubber mats. Then I drove it like it wanted.

Glad you like your car. Maybe read up on the k&n filters: the oil kills MAF sensors, and if it is their "cold air intake" ask yourself where the cold air is coming from (hint: it is a hot air intake and is robbing power).

Agree with CDS, and to add, "the reason why those filters give a little more power is because they don't filter the small particles that a normal filter does."

I do NOT want find particles that Porsche didn't want in my engine floating around in the combustion chamber to do damage.

Default new CATs

Long list after 3 months of owner ship on my C4S......
But today replaced my CATs after I thru a code.
The old OEMs after taking off and shaking sounded like big rattle cans.
Replaced with a set of SOUL cross overs....did not want the X-pipe as I've read there could be a bit of low end power lost.
Keeping the OEM exhaust for now.....sound is perfect now.

Your old cats look like they where previously cut open?
Soul looks like a quality product. There headers look really nice but from what I've seen.
