As noted above, working with the existing palate of brake paint is the limiting factor. What's available in yellow sucks. Every time I look at mine it seems like I need to put the crappy old red ones back on. The yellow bugged my cousin so much he got those OE yellow ones Seinfeld was going to put on to replace his factory blue ones. But they're a cheap placeholder for the moment.

I think it's all preference. We're pretty trained to see red from all the turbos/4Ss, and since either silver was about 90% of production it won't stand out even if you're not an AWD widebody.

My $0.02. Blue 1st choice, red 2nd and yellow 3rd. Whatever color you do, get seat belts to match.

Red would be good ....... plus it would lend the cachet of a wide body chassis

Hmmm. Signal green would be interesting. Maybe better on a gray or black car. How about turquoise? Seriously!

dave

PS- did not see if you were limiting yourself to a particular brand of VHT?

FWIW, I have VHT clear on my calipers and it still looks great after about 50K miles. Would open up a world of color options to you. Hot pink even, if you're into that sorta thing...

Ding, ding, ding!!! We have a winner! Whether he realizes it or not, AOW has a clear propensity for bling. 'Course, it needs to be 24 karat only. Not sure how heat resistant it will be.
