"A quick poke at the brake pedal engages the Factory Brembo Calipers and easily slows the car back to legal speeds"

Please...spare me the corner lot used car dealer salesman talk...

"We also added a Porsche Sport Sound Exhaust System, The PSE is controlled by two vacuum actuated flappers that open the exhaust for better flow and that distinctive Porsche sound. Increase your performance and sound with a quality factory Porsche exhaust."

Ummmm..which option was that? maybe the 996 mufflers that those bozos rigged the car with.

That poor thing is in seriously ****-poor shape. I'd hate to see the underside of the engine.

Also, why does it have two different license plates?

This line is pure gold, "This car has been well cared for in its years and is a fine example of the mark."

Any time I see an LAPD thread I feel sadness for those that don't know of Rennlist.

Hey Floyd, I detailed it, tossed the keys on the hood and took a bunch of pics. Oh ya- I checked the dipstick and it was empty so I added a few quarts of oil as well

That's just sad to see a once beautiful car looking like that.

Who was the PO, Edward Scissorhands? Did you see that steering wheel?

Shows every one of those 136,000 miles. You'd think with all the parts they have available they would have at least thrown a half decent steering wheel and immobilizer unit at it.

I saw that LAPD ad yesterday.

I will be selling my 97 993 Cab, 120K but very well maintained and clean (MUCH cleaner than that one with no scratches and stuff)....black on tan with hollow turbo wheels, lowered bilsteins h&r tomorrow...and I will be listing photos here.

I was hoping to get 25 for it...but now I have to compete with that one.

I really doubt that...

My C2 has 125,000 and although it's a driver it looks nothing at all like that car.

Pathetic, disgraceful POS that thing is.

Couldn't they have at least cleaned it up for the pics? It really reflects on the quality of their operation.

now normally I think rennlisters are a bit overly critical of a lot of cars, but in this case, all the criticism is warranted.

That car is a disaster.
