Thanks. Already have a silver CS2, so I'm good on the silver front. Looking for another CS2 in black, or something colorful. Deep blue, rare shade of green (Aventurine anyone?), or perhaps even a pop of yellow. A Vesuvio / Vesuvius is the dream. Eyes are open, looking around, ready to spend on great cars. If anyone happens to have something, please PM me. Thanks!

On the market at the moment the only thing that is out there with this criteria is that Zenith blue/beige one with sports seats at BHCC. But not for the seller's usual inventory style if I were on the market for a deviated color 993S I would at least take a look at that car. A close, good look. Good PPI etc. Comp tests etc.

Other than that the usual BAT/Pcar inventory has been black or silver for several months now with some appearances of guards red or arena red. Good luck!

@rk-d and @Gbos1 You guys would be surprised. I have met and continue to meet individuals that got into these cars as part of a trend and wouldn't know where the windshield washer fluid refill is, let alone distinguish between factory weld and seams and body shop slop. Never ceases to amaze me.

I’m familiar with that car, and have been talking with them about it. I’ve driven it, and had my mechanic PPI it as well. Let’s just say it’s considerably overpriced given what it needs. Great color though. We’ll see - still talking.

@spinfree overpriced no doubt as it has been listed for a while now, otherwise it would have sold already.

Seriously though - Have you ever talked to a "regular" person about cars, particularly from a technical standpoint? The ignorance might surprise you.

Na I hear ya man! All types out there! But in this market there is a “sucker born every day!”

BHCC - they deal in rough cars. You'd want to do some aggressive due diligence before considering purchase.

I'll guess it's still there.

The lambo dealership sellling the car is also the home of gaswerks Porsche specialist. This specific salesman just sold a 993 gt3 that was posted on the gaswerks site. I really want to hope that gaswerks has nothing to do with this sale but I'm struggling here

I don't buy the the excuse that the seller is naive.... the two colors of the panels and the foam are all it takes
for an honest person to admit that something is not right.... Like a little kid with his hands over his ears saying:
I can't hear you....

The real test is what does he do now?

I think if he was legitimately unaware, the best thing to do would be to pull the auction and cancel out the existing bids made under false pretense. Get the car fully vetted at a Porsche certified body shop. Check chassis and wheel alignment and dig into the history and contact prior owners to hopefully get the story. Re-do the auction with full disclosure.

EDIT: Looked at this guys prior auctions. He just sold a 19k 993 RS for $355k! The guy should/would have known better. Sketchy…

Why does it not have the typical interior trim pattern seen on all S cars (the golf-ball dimple pattern, whatever it's officially called)?

This looks like a nice example in black:

Thanks for looking out, but not into the aerokit/spoiler look on a C2S.
