There is a black on black US C4S for sale in Germany : 88.9k€ ~ 105kUSD with ~107kmiles.
https://m.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/detail...pyToPasteboard
(no affiliation).
This car was listed a couple of months ago at 77k€ ~ 91kUSD for a long time (couple of weeks) just before the recent craziness and I assume (guesstimate) it was sold to the current owner. I think pre-craziness, it was an OK deal (not a ton of bangs for your bucks but not overpriced either) but now it may be worth having a look especially if you want to import it back to the US (especially into California) because there won’t be emission / OBD compliance issues.
So what does this bump in price gives you : from what I see when I originally saw the previous listing at 91kUSD from previous owner, the current owner changed the US turbo bumper with amber corner lights to Euro bumper corner and white corner lights. I suppose there are other maintenance items which had been carried out but that’s all I can see from the pictures of the ad.
this car also seem fairly well optioned. Twists are also available.

I didn't read all the details.. Was it just my imagination or did the registration sticker say 2019 on it?
Also, maybe the seller wasn't in a financial or time position to make the investment. Sure, he could have put money into it and gotten the money out +20%-30% but maybe he just wanted or needed it gone and liquidated. '
No harm, no foul. Someone else can reap the rewards.

I didn't look at the inspection date specifically on the Zenith car, but you can't pass inspection in NJ with a check engine light on. That's basically what they check (no check engine light, and readiness monitors working). But, NJ allowed a lot of flexibility with the inspection time periods due to Covid.
Seller had no particular time or financial constraints. He wanted an easy transaction and was happy enough with the money (again he probably doubled or tripled his original purchase price).
I really think that car was a gem.

I have no idea what prices will do. But if you’re right it’s good news for sellers, not so much for those of us that just want to drive them. I’ve already increased my insured values twice. Looks like I will need to revisit them again.

It was fun to watch the values go up, but it’s starting to get a little creepy, not gonna lie. I don’t want this thing to turn into some sort of priceless heirloom. It’s supposed to be fun.
