Why don't you guys just send that seller a PM on Pcar with a link to this thread. Maybe he doesn't know, as if he knows then he is grossly misrepresenting the car. A lot of guys that own these cars have no idea what needs to go where and what a factory finish looks like. I see it all the time at CnC. No skin on this game but have no wish to engage on Pcar for the time being. Hopefully bidders are also RL members and read this post.

Good. That is why this forum works. If you are in the market for a good 993 check out @Tarek_307 on BAT which is closing in a few moments. Its a 4S with sport seats and seems to be well sorted. Not so low mileage though but clean car.

I actually think that might be what is going on here. Nothing else makes sense - he posted numerous pictures that show the previous repair.
It's very conceivable that the guy had no idea he has a wrecked up car, crudely patched back together. Most people are pretty clueless about cars. Sad, if that's the case.

Come on? Really? How in the hell can’t you notice that! He must be blind then! No other areas of the car are spray foamed like that and the front clip is clearly lighter than the rest! I don’t buy that he doesn’t know!

Seriously though - Have you ever talked to a "regular" person about cars, particularly from a technical standpoint? The ignorance might surprise you.
