It may be a nice car, but I personally visited this place when on the hunt for a 993 2 years ago. The 4S I was considering was parked in the back behind 20-30 other Porsches each about a foot from the next. Some nice some rough. I asked to drive it and they wanted a deposit with intent to purchase before going to all the trouble of pulling it out. Car was said to have had a $20,000 professional respray but had visible masking tape marks. Car was (I now know) a very rough example, but they acted like it was some rarefied gem I should feel lucky to sit in.

I bought a 20k mile S from Merit Partners in Atlanta a month later. Experience and car couldn’t have been more different.

In short, if you buy the seller, I would be cautious about that outfit.

It looks very nice. But I guess the frunk carpet needs to be lifted for a final determination.

Lots of us do not like winged cars...

The car I bought was a low mileage Aerokit car.... Pulling the front valence
is nothing and it cost about 4k to source out the parts, some new, some used
and respray the deck to match-

At these prices, putting 4k into your dream car does not seem all that bad

Default 933TT on PCar

Have you guys seen this car on PCar? Wanted to get some thoughts. It had a "fender bender" with $40K in damage. Dealer has it up on his site for $199K and "accident free." Thoughts?

seems like $40k would account for more than a fender, brakes, and suspension components. scanned the invoices quickly, but didn't see the invoices for the damage. zero accident turbos are selling for less than $200k, so that price is not realistic, imo. final auction bid should be interesting.

interesting that there are 2 cats on there. no other exhaust components, though. with the rear rim damaged, you would think at least one muffler would have made the list if the cats are on there.

quite the invoice!

Holy sh**

Looks like the R front side of the car was completely reconstructed.

3 over $200k on BaT alone in the past few months, seems like the 200k barrier is broken but agree this one might not rank up there

And REAR disk also. I'm wondering how bad this FRONT end collision was. In all seriousness, it seems like a pretty comprehensive repair

The issue for me as a first time P-Car buyer is whether this would make a fun driver quality car. I'm not looking for a show car or garage queen. I wanna have fun driving on the weekends. I would love thoughts from the masses. I'm fine with imperfection.

Would anyone take comfort in the fact that the repair was done by a dealer? As a general rule, they will try to sell as many components as possible. As such, they may have done a decent job... Is this wishful thinking?

I agree that this should be interesting. Dealer is asking $200K for the car on his site. Dead curious as to the reserve...

Clean Title - No Accidents, Fully Inspected and Serviced, Excellent Condition!

how do you have this on your site and yet disclose the accident invoice of $40k on the auction??

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...1-carrera-s-2/

seller was cornered and responded “oversight” “younger technician” are you serious? Doesn’t take a tech to notice the mess inside the frunk.
