Not to say Paul is dishonest in any regard as even the most thorough PPI can't catch all, just that there is a certain element of luck buying a 23+ year old car.

This...and yes, that's the first time I had heard of that dealer...but...on the flip side, that guy also said he sold his 997 TT cause it was "too fast".
(disclaimer: no, I never actually watched his explanation.)

Agreed! Paul was a pleasure to deal with just a few weeks ago when I picked up my 997.2 GTS from him. 5 Star all around. Highly recommend. I skipped a PPI inspection.

Free promo: there's a pair of WBs for sale from the SAME seller at Marketplace.
  • Glacier White 122k on odo manual, WAS asking $72k and then seller discovered he way underpriced, so now on competitive auction deadlining 8/5 noon.
  • Arctic Silver 32k on odo manual, asking $127k (that is, after said seller realized how ridiculous the original $72k ask for the Glacier White was...).
Either someone will score a GREAT buy, or two GREAT buys, or...

My former midnight C4S is now being offered in the marketplace on consignment by her current owner. If anyone is interested send me a PM for any clarifications either the seller or current owner may not be able to reapond to based on such a short tenure.

Correct my former midnight blue 4S that I sold in May of last year is the one that is up now represented by Switchcars. My silver C2S is still with me. The result of that equation was 'winning bidder = non buyer = No sale". And that is all I will disclose about that episode. Back to the C4S as I mentioned above, if anyone is looking at it happy to be of help as I probably can answer more questions than the seller or current owner. I am not interested in buying her back at this time. I haven't even driven her replacement yet 1 tick. She's still under RnR and @JAB12 personalization process.

more issues with pcar? i know you likely won't go into details, but it's disappointing to hear that the auction/sale never closed for you. where is the accountability? we seem to have lost accountability on so many fronts as of late.

I won't, not worth the lines here. Only positive takeaway is that at least we know what a few are willing to pay for her if she ever goes back on the market again. BIG IF. Which IF, will be done the good 'ol fashioned way, person to person, handshake, BOS, check + new friendship, title, and everyone is happy.

There's a saying among security traders that the best trade may be the one you didn't make.

I sold my 1st 993 and came to regret it, so much so I bought this current one; and thankfully right before prices skyrocketed.
