Not exactly an interior I want to climb into in the dead of summer in Vegas, Phoenix, the FL Keys, ....

These cars are classics, and I've always been of the opinion that classics are dressed best in staple, conservative color combos (Silver/Black, Black/Black).

I like my Arena Red/ Cashmere combo. I get TONS of compliments on the color and would much rather have an interesting color than Silver or Black- that said- I'd buy one if I found the RIGHT CAR. Color should be the least concern when plunking down $ 100K+ for a 25 year old toy.

i actually love unique interiors and unique color combos. that said, i have black/black, black/black, black/black, yellow/black.
this is one that's been on elferspot for a bit. clearly, it's not winning a ton of people over and yet i'd love to have that in my garage.

I actually wanted only black interior when I was searching for my 993 but I think GRed and Cashmere has really grown on me as I think it gives off a real classy look.

GR and Cashmere look great! Could only be nicer if it was more tan/caramel.
I went to go look at a 993 this week locally. Was thinking of buying it. Midnight Blue leather dash with marble grey seats and lower dash/doors. Looked sharp against the Midnight Blue Metallic exterior.

OK, this is about as close as a C4S vs C2S valuation goes.
Back to back auction within the hour, Arctic (4S) vs Polar (2S) Silver, only noticeable diff is mileage w/ C4S at 45.6k on odo and C2S at about 1/2 (22.8k on odo).
https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...-carrera-4s-1/
https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...1-carrera-s-5/
C4S sold for $135k before fees.
C2S sold for $172k before fees.
Now, is 23k less in odo worth $37k in price (and that's before TT&L)? I think we all know the answer to that.

Paint & body work, airbag’s deployed according to Carfax, double the miles, areo on C2S, overall condition…. sure that seems like a good comparison. Right!

Couldn't be further off base. When you think classic Porsche, silver/black or black/black is about the last thing that comes to mind irrespective of the fact these color combos were very popular for the masses in the 90's.

Apparently narrow body cars are way UP too! Wow, just wow. Sort of sad actually. Now insurance and parts prices will rise. Can't we keep our little corner of Porsche heaven out of these inflated prices.
NUTS!

And to think this time last year I got offered $35K for my C2S by a time waster because “it would never sell anywhere close to my ask” due to it being circa 200k miles. Regardless of condition...
My ask (privately) at the time was $80K.
