It was a spur of the moment decision to buy a car sight unseen and if I had spent more time to think about it, I probably would not have done it.

38k miles C4S for $89k.

Pcar market is an absolute joke...I amongst a long list of others have had issues with them. With that said, $200k for that BAT car today is absolutely nuts.

I was thinking the same thing. Of course I'll probably keep it too long to reap the benefits!

I bought mine in '15.

It might be nuts but it’s going to anchor the market.

BaT Midnight Blue 56k miles did not meet reserve at $111,000 before fees, today.. Better color, better-optioned, not dissimilar miles from the Black BaT 2S that just sold for $197,000. Anyone know what the reserve number was?

The auction end was on Friday afternoon. That couldn't have helped. Should have been 130-140 in today's slightly nuts market.

1.) It was a 4S
2.) It had a gray interior

I'd more accurately say classic grey dashes seem to hurt in some cases, albeit not as much as a blue or green dash.

Cars with the 2-tone black dash/grey seats seem to do great whether it be classic or marble grey, although marble (the lighter of the two) seems to be more favorable.

Haven't been back on this forum for awhile. Glad to see all the 993 enthusiasts. I am glad I kept the 993 C2S triple black (with 45,000 kms) till this day which is my garage queen. It was so tempting to sell it for something more modern like the 991 GT3 but ended up adding a 996 TT instead.

I think the prices of the 993 will continue to go up despite some of you think the price will correct after covid. Look at the watch market, its crazy.

with ~6 hours to go this NB 993 has been sitting on a 70k bid for days.

some interesting choices. an odd one that stands out to me is a fixed tail and a basket handle.

A lot of people are sitting on cash and looking for a place to spend which may explain some of the recent price trends.

I like that my car is not an ever depreciating asset and gives me joy.

If it goes down in value, it will still be fun.

My investments are ever increasing in value (at least for now), but looking at the numbers isn't fun and chances are the money will outlive me.

$75k with fees Sold …. Funky stuff going on with this one …. 93k miles probably held down price but not long ago this would have been a $45k-$50k at best!

Nice, well-kept final year C2S on Craigslist (of all places these days), asking $187.5k: https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...410166280.html

Smart move, if, seller pulled this off; essentially asking BAT top-notch seller prices at Craigslist's level.
