there were a number of aesthetic liberties taken on this car which may not interest a buyer willing to pay $145k. i agree, it doesn't sell at that number unless someone ill informed just feels lucky to have stumbled across it and has to have it. there are much better buys out there.

$145k for a 100k C4S is hilarious. I guess that means a 50k C4S is worth at least $200k. At this rate a 993 Turbo with 100k miles will cost more than a brand new 992 Turbo S.

I’d imagine the performance suffers with those heavy 19” RUF wheels. The boom box style speaker covers in the doors are an eyesore.

A bit extreme. It's an asking price and certainly we've seen cars with that mileage sell on auction sites for these prices. I don't think $130k (assuming it will be negotiated for less) is off base for this considering the market. It also has hardback seats, comes with the stock seats, a set of twists and a spare engine lid, which can all be sold to offset your cost basis. 50k miles or 100k+ is of little difference IMHO. Anything in that range is a "driver". ~20k miles or less is the only mileage range that would command such premiums.
The car looks to be in great shape minus some of the tacky mods (easy to undo). The biggest concern with the one seems to be the front bumper which does not color match the rest of the car. I thought it was the lighting at first but you don't see this on any other panel, whereas every picture of the bumper looks quite a bit "whiter" than all other panels. Something to factor into the price negotiation to bring it down to the $130k mark.

You guys are completely crazy if you think 50k miles and "100k+" has no difference in value. Literally doubling the miles and it's supposedly the same value and car? No chance. Guessing you have 100k+ miles cars to conveniently support that rhetoric.

Clarified my post. That’s my point as well. 50k ≠ 100k.

In other news...you want to talk about craziville...and I am going to keep the dealer's name out of this, cause his response was nothing short of obscene.
I inquired about a 2005 turbo S, manual - gorgeous car, low miles...while waiting for a response I googled the vin. Sold last march for $66k.
Asking price: $250,000
I wasn't certain we were talking about the same car, stating that it sold (didn't know he bought it) for $66k last spring. Dude lost his mind...and a potential customer.
