I didn’t “settle” for my C4S. Driven both and felt there wasn’t that big of a difference driving wise other than the C4S really gripped in the corners especially in wet conditions…. but felt the C4S was built after its big brother the Turbo and way more special than the C2S. We all can agree to disagree

Original wheels, in NOS condition, are with the Vesuvio in the right colour combination.
Published in many Porsche magazines and Porsche books. Just had a service for about $7000,-
Great car. Only thing that would limit its market potential is the mileage.

That car with low mileage would be worth all the money.

For the record - I like that your car has miles and has been driven and loved.

Okay,
I’m gonna settle this debate for good.

WB > NB
coupe > Vert
6spd > 4tt
2s > 4s
hard back > full leather
aluminum gauges > Black
aerokit > non aero
silver/blk > everything else
LSD > wheel slip
Motor Sound > quiet engine
some mods > OEM US ride height
50,000mi > not driven

so there you have it. I have the best 993. And if you disagree, I’ll club you with my rear windshield wiper.
😜

@ rk-d: Mine has done 80.000 miles. Very well maintained from new till now. With all the records
I have seen recently WB 993 cars advertised on bringatrailer with less miles with a worse look
in and out........for a lot of money......

No doubt that car would fetch big money. There hasn’t been a Vesuvio for sale during this WB boom (at least that I’ve seen). It would be interesting see what it would get.

The Vesuvio Edition is definitely an acquired taste. It it’s cool and all but …. not my cup of tea. Would be interesting to see what one would sell for in this crazy market right now!

Hyperlink to existing sales? Of course. We did that many times.
Advertising your own? Sure, why not? So long as you don't do those 'how much is my car worth' or 'inquiring for a friend' non-sense and just post an asking. More readers frequent this thread than the marketplace anyway...

Low miles and well cared for - it would sell for more than $200K.

I know of four vesuvio cars that have traded off market since March of 2020. I was offered two of them. I had a deal for one and the seller flaked out only to sell the car to another buyer for more and the other had accident history and a poor repair I passed but someone did buy it. The other two cars were very clean and good buys given today’s prices that sold for over 100k. Again these car were never advertised or posted - all person to person. I know of one being shopped around with very, very low miles, LSD, HIFI sound, full leather interior, carbon fiber everything, hardback seats (the car has so many options they almost ran out of room to print them on the option label) for a ridiculous amount.

My vesuvio was totaled after an accident for an over six figure actual cash value by my insurance company in May of 2020. They begrudgingly had comps that supported it back then, I can only imagine what it would be valued at now.

You also have the 25 year importation window opening up soon for cars built in 97’ and more vesuvios (and WB in general) could end up coming here. For myself the ROW spec cars are even better as many came highly optioned (LSD, full leather, hardbacks, ect) without sunroofs and better gearing.
