@SToronto You may be right about the 991 GT3. I have a lot of time to drive and decide on that third car as my timeline is likely 5-10 years. Need a bigger garage first. Track is not a big component of wheel time at this point in my life, but I am hoping to grow in to it in the future.
If I want the old experience, I'll go out in my 930 instead of the 993. I remember driving the 993 for the first time, felt way more modern, I was not expecting that much of a difference. I've come to drive what I feel I want to experience. Now fortunate to have a number of cars to hit different experiences.
If you aren't tracking, think twice about going 991+ GT3/RS. I had a 991.2 PDK until few months ago. Fantastic, but it was primarily tracked. Too fast with PDK to enjoy on the roads here, better cars for that to really get street performance enjoyment. It was fun on the road for about 30 minutes to bang out those PDK shifts, but afterwards it's not so fun. To me. A 6-spd would increase street fun of a GT3. Traded it because of COVID and track closures with uncertainty. But getting a 992 GT3 Touring Manual, more use for the street without the flash. Will get something else for the track. If you want a modern street Porsche with NA engine, GT4/Spyder with a manual would and has gotten my vote (twice). The handling is precise and sharp and power is plenty for the street. Yes some complain about the gearing but it's not bad other than you don't get to shift a lot because of the rate of speed in second unless you are shifting early.
Having tracked my 981 GT4 and 718 Spyder, they are simply sublime on the track. Only lacking power for long straights. If you are hoping to grow into the track or hit it for extracting performance of the car, then a GT4/Spyder would serve well. Great tool to learn with and will bring joy on and off the track. Great dual purpose car.
As always, best to drive them for yourself. I was blown away when I first drove a 991.1 GT3 years ago. Drove my 997.2 C4S to the dealership and tested the GT3 along with a 991 S. Was thrilled to drive home in the 997 and wanted a GT3. The S was nowhere close to the experience for me as the other 2, fast yes, but didn't offer an experience if you know what I mean. Haven't driven a 992 but pretty sure I'd only get a non GT modern 911 if I was going to DD it.
Anyway, have fun working through what will work for you!

The original steering wheel and airbag look pretty beat up for the miles
also no mention of suspension mods and car is very low

It will also be interesting to see how the beautiful arctic silver C2S listed by @JAB12 does comparatively as it is listed in the same marketplace at the same time as the above arctic silver car.
https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...1-carrera-s-1/
I think it will be closer than most would assume as the 17k miles car looks a bit rough for the mileage and the high miles car looks incredible for having nearly 200k on the clock.

Perfect candidate for whoever buys it to rack up to the half million mark, or maybe even be like that 930 owner who is almost to 1 million miles.

Agree that was crazy money for that specimen. Too many unconventional mods.

So much for that theory of Sundays being a terrible day to close an auction.
Honestly the first result since prices started climbing that actually has me taken aback. C2, high miles, accident history, tons of mods (some good mods, but still). Just wow.
