I still have to find out, but potentially there could be hanged something related to the front luggage loom.
Meanwhile brand new&shiny Genuine Porsche oil lines arrived, in the next weeks I plan to install them in the next few days and thus complete the entire section that goes from the tank to the front radiator.
Subsequently I will take care of reassembling the console of the thermostat and primary oil filter to the separate oil tank together with the relative connections, which will finally be followed by the coupling of the numerous oil lines that flow into the separate tank, i.e .:
- dipstick for checking oil level
- delivery line and oil return line to and from the engine
- oil delivery and return line to and from the front oil radiator
- ventilation lines
- tank top-up / filling line
I can't wait to see all of the above perfectly assembled and tightened with the metal clamps that seem to be produced by a company called Norma, but at the same time I am taking the time to enjoy, doing it all by myself.
The engine shop informed me last friday that the engine halves (the engine block) are closed...

I am now searching for the part # of these 2 tiny plastic parts, both type are supposed to be placed behind the pedal set.
this plastic part is supposed to take in place the brake flud that is used also as flhid for the clutch master cylinder, but I wasn't able to find out its part # so far
this is the same part, but undamaged
a close up of the same part above
I am also looking for the part # of the following hook/clamp, more than one is needed, to hold in place
these clamps hold some electrical wiring harness in place behind the pedal set
It is very well known, pretty much if not the largest, maybe the second largest and most important vintage car exhibition in Europe, I've never been to the Essen vintage car exhibition, but I will be there the next time, since the Covid has sadly prevented me from being at this event for the past two years.
Anyway, tomorrow I am going to be in Padova and if anyone here is going to participate, maybe it could be nice to join.
This is definitely an off topic, but I hope you will enjoy some juicy bits from the last weekend Car&Moto Exhibition in Padova.
From the next year this more than 30 years old car exhibition will move to Bologna Fiera, I am looking forward to take Limoncella to proudly show to all the car enthusiast how beautifully she is back!
I was lucky to find a beautiful set of 18" Sportdesign 996 GT3 wheel set with Stahl grau centers from origin in very good condition and the lip freshly diamand treated at a very professional shop - at a super good price - as for women the shoes, 911s can't literally resist to new set of wheels!

Thanks for the great photos @nothingbutgt3 and it's exciting to know that your restored 993 will be displayed at an upcoming show. The fact that you called out the 'sunroof delete' models impressed me and means you're a man of culture.
Hello,
Fantastico! You have done an amazing job in bringing Limoncella back.
I bought a similar Limonengelb Summer Yellow C4S in France earlier this summer. Having read the Panorama article and your story, I thought about keeping it but I ended up selling it on Bring a Trailer.
Beautiful car and I am sure that I will kick myself later....Too many cars and too little time.
I have posted a few pictures of my car and the paint sticker.
Keep having fun with your project, At the dealer in Melesse, France Off the ship in Port Hueneme, California The Limonengelb Summer Yellow paint sticker
and all your many great options.
