With great surprise the fan hub could not only slip fit, but also was free to rotate on the alternator shaft.

So I was wondering what am I supposed to do to male the fan hub transmit the rotation to the alternator shaft kf the fan hub can rotate on tbe shaft?
Tighten the nut on the alternator shaft..

Yes Tosi, I noticed there is a small contact surface between the alternator flange (solid with its shaft) and the RS fan hub, as well as there is an even smaller contact surface betwen the flat hexagon head nut that must be torqued on the shaft end, but I was wondering if there is some way to improve the friction or to make become safer the solidity coupling between the fan hub and the alternator shaft.
You are telling me that it is not a mistake that the Rothsport can freely rotate around the shaft, while the other version I've got can't: how was designed the original RS fan hub?

Correct, the nut holds it tight.

the GT3 oil pump seems to fit perfectly

Parts seem to fit perfectly, also the distance for the connection between the intermediate shaft and the oil pump

Sorry I just noticed this. This is a turbo oil pump. What makes it different or better than the 964/993 versions used? I understand the GT3 upgrade with its scavenge pickup but would be interested in the gains made by using the pump pictured.

All these mezger engines through the 996 used the same 964 case so they all should fit from this generation.

For reference this is a GT3 Cup Car engine with the GT3 pump.

Depends on the budget but if money wasn’t an issue I would hunt down the following in this order:
1. Performance Development
2. Supertech
3. Canyon
4.993
5. Raceware
6. ARP
I don't think ARP are a bad product, probably they cover the 6 position in your ranking, maybe the position 1 for someone else.
In the end I took the ARP stud kit and I was helped sourcing also the Supertec kit, which arrived today.
What can I say apart from the overall packaging and stud quality and protection, many thanks to you, Ed!

nice packaging

nice instructions sheet and protective net on each stud

The ARP kit should arrive by the end of March

I was more than happy to help with this project, Paolo! I’m glad we could pull this off!

These wheels are 100% made with original BBS Motorsport E29 used parts, except for the little bolts, which are brand new BBS ones.

I had to buy a set of used 1" outer lip, and swap the front centers to the rear wheels, in order to get not only the right wheel channel, but also the right offset.

with whoelse but you of the rennlist community -
with super expert eyes - I could share the high resolution photos of the "shoes" that will be worn by Limoncella?

The wheel size are:

8,5J x 18 ET 48 Front

10J x 18 ET 60 Rear

The channel width same as 993 Cup Magnesium Speedline wheels, while the front ET is 2mm smaller and in the rear the ET is perfectly the same.
The wider front channel should make the tyre work in a slightly preciser way.

Hi RLers,
I am now considering to name the car "Carrera Cup", apart from taste considerations, I can't believe to be thinking to how it is better to name the car!
Does anyone know if there is a way to source the "Cup" logo, but not as an adesive, but in rally black like the Carrera logo, in relief?

Actually the 993 Cup should be slower than Limoncella, but I think it is the closest version, closest spirit.
The car should be in her stage 1, more or less 1060kg, which means 70kg lighter than the 993 Cup.
she will have a 2022 3-ways adj. suspension set up, the BBi uprights and will be all on monoballs, apart from gearbox and engine mounts, which will be semisolid green one from Rothsport and Blue colored Rennline ones.
The engine will be balanced, but stock, with HJS Motorsport 100 cells Kat inserts, for more or less 300 hp, and gearbox G50.21.2 as in origin.

Vacuum line for brake booster, I need two of these rubber seals

Hyraulic line of the clutch

Cant help on the first one, as it doesn't seem to have a part number printed on it.

Regarding the second one, yours appears more legible than mine. Can you wet the numbers on it to get a better look?

Mine appears to be 999-702-149-40 but some of the numbers are fuzzy.

I am going to check in the garage, these rubber parts are the true challenge 😅
