Add one of these, you can remove the starter and the lead acid battery. so +170lbs minus ~70lbs for the battery and starter... 150BHP and killer torque
I can't understand why everyones reacts to Hybrid
It doesn't only mean Prius
I think 992.2 T will be the best of the bunch. It may have 3.6 NA base engine without any hybrid or turbos. At 394hp is sits at the perfect increment of hp gain compared to 992.1 T and should be able to accommodate 6spd gear box found in 718 GTS.

I really doubt it. That 3.6 will be the differentiator for the new GTS. Base models will have the current engine but maybe a slight tune to 992.1.
The 992.2 GTS is going to see a larger price increase than the current differential to it, its obvious they are moving that model upscale - and then the THEV on top of that. The base 992.2 Turbo may make more sense in terms of a "value" trim. I would wait to see how it all shakes out, especially since these waiting lists mean next to nothing anyway.

The big unknown in this scenario is the availability of manual transmission for GTS. If it is available then it may be the best car in line up.

There is zero guarantee that there will be a 992.2 T. Keep in mind that the 991 only had the T via the dot two. Time will certainly tell if we see a T for the 992.2. Edit: If a 2.2 T does materialize it will not occur for a few years.

Porsche is in the business of selling cars and T by no means is a limited production run. It probably caters to a subgroup of Porsche buyers, that may explain relatively less of them as it’s not for everyone. If I have to bet, there is a more chance of having it rather than not having it. The only true limited card are GTs and limited editions.

Believe what you will, but even experienced Porsche Brand Ambassadors that have been with dealerships for multiple decades even suspect that a 2.2 T might not happen.

They almost look like they are stepped, with an upper and lower level. Each level seems to have two (some what) horizontal light strips.
There is still black camouflage inside the light housing, so we cannot see the assembly that surrounds the light strips, nor do we see the bottom and side decorations they have put inside the housing. It may look better once we see those parts of the design.
(So far, I still like the separate DRL lights in the 992.1 bumper. The matrix lights in the 992.1 also look nice. However, I have a suspicion that the 992.2 may come standard with matrix lights, with reduced functionality for certain markets, of course).
