Please take no offense, but I am not even going to click on this obviously AI generated video; I'm sure there will be nothing of value in it.

Not having analog tach, push start button, the transmission lever on the dash all feel too much BMW/Hyundai on the new 2024 Cayenne (vs the 2022 we own). It will feel the same way in this 911. It actually makes a tremendous difference having a piece of **** laggy digital dial.

If people can tell 100-120 lbs between S/T and some other GT variant, you dont think they can tell 250 lbs between the new Turbo and older one? Why do you think hp bump is big?

And then there is the reliability. If there is one thing I like about Porsches, it has to be that they can be driven for decades if maintained properly. Good luck doing that with hybrid power train. Want to look at earlier hybrid cars and their replacement part costs in other brands? The problem here is (which is contrary from Porsches perspective as its advantageous for them) vast majority of buyers in todays age are stupid from an engineering/technical ability perspective. They dont even know how to hold a screw driver let alone understand internal combustion engine. People get dumber and dumber.

I have to agree with you, the 911 being a drivers car will feel much different as a Hybrid, Id like to think the GT cars will hold their value very well with the GT2RS going hybrid and future cars going that same route

When is production of the 992.1 scheduled to stop?
Have dealers stopped taking allocations for 992.1?
Apologies in advance as I've not been following this thread.

There is no public info, nor reliable speculation about when the 992.1 production will stop.

edit: if 64 pages of wrong dates didn't already tell you that

My SA (atlanta - Hennessy) was told recently to convert the couple dozen or so on the list for MY 24 GTS over to MY 25, no more allocations for 992.1. Said configurator online will go live soon..

Well, if you are a couple of dozen deep at one dealer for a GTS - you were never going to get a car this calendar year anyway. So I don't know that this means the 992.2 deliveries are starting in September.

Per my experience, the vast majority of SAs have no credible intel as PCNA tends to make them the last to know what is going on internally. Loose lips, sink ships mentality. This is pretty much the norm amongst most automobile manufactures.

I'm guessing the worker bees at Stuttgart are intentionally spreading different stories to different dealerships so that they can all spread different "news" and have it percolate online and generate buzz for the 992.2.

It's marketing 101.
