Time will tell…
seems to be a reasonable timing schedule!

OK so that's probably Carrera S / 4S to come first...then base Carrera? Then Turbo cars maybe early 2025 would be my guess.

this mean as always that 992.2 is coming in few weeks.

i hope GTS will be available not so many months after Carrera and Carrera S but I will close with these if GTS Will be hybrid.

i want less problem on my new 911
I'm not following all this. Some slots arriving, meaning cars ordered already or allocations?

(again: I'm guessing the 992.2 dash will be great, I just think the bitterness towards 992.1 design is comical)
Halloween is coming up, and that Corvette tach looks a lot like the 992.2 Tach we're going to have to deal with...it's SCARY !!

The new Cayenne tach sucks too.

BOOOOOO !!

Got my shark blue 992.1 GTS and couldn’t be happier. The facelift won’t change much and the major change I’d have to look at every day (central tech) is all but certainly going to be all digital. I don’t like my watches digital and neither would I want the central tach on my car!

agree

one of the color in contest is Shark blue
others racing yellow, chalk (like my Taycan GTS) or Arctic grey

all full of decals

for the analog counter I am on your way

better analog than digital for an Ice car

Full digital on my Taycan is ok not on my future 911

Thanks for the update. My Cabriolet freeze date locks in the middle of November with a January delivery. I kept second guessing my decision to order now or wait for the 992.2. July 2024 delivery is to long of a wait for me, thats even if my dealership was able to get a Cab allocation in April. I'm also ordering the Heritage interior Package which may or may not be available on the 992.2's.

Better performance -> customers care more.
Better fuel economy -> porsche cares more.... the regulations...

I will be disappointed if we don't get hybrid...
I will be disappointed, too. But not for those reasons.

But rather for this reason.

I´m pretty sure the car the car is not going to be unveiled in October. It´s probably Dealer bull**** .Remember this, for several years now, (since the 997 if not wrong) before introducing a new generation (or a facelift), Porsche invites some reporters to test the a pre-production car (still in camouflage), reporters do their review, their photos, their videos (this year was the Cayenne, Panamera and the Macan EV was just a couple of days ago). Regards.

Was just told that the car will be announced in spring/summer. Available in October.

the Turbo/hybrid will be in GTS and above.

Will not be a turbo/hybrid in the base models.

Mind clarifying, turbo and hybrid aren't equivalents, the oblique is highly confusing.

Heard from Reading UK Porsche (UK HQ) today they expect April.

By Turbo Hybrid I mean the Turbocharged/Hybrid engine

As far as timing, it's what my rep told us on a call this week.

The sales rep is simply grasping at straws. No Porsche sales representative knows the 992.2 roadmap. Their info is as insightful as ours via rumors and speculation.
