Hi. My name is Wilder and I'm a Porscheholic. It's been 4 hours since my last drive and three weeks since my last mod.
She's beautiful, congrats! My first configuration was Python. Kinda regret not going with it, especially now that it's no longer available. Well played.
Hey twin, can't wait to pick mine up. Should be next week.
Picked up my new T yesterday - it hasn't sunk in yet that it's really here and really mine. I love the car so far. My seven year old loves it too, but my four year old is a bit scared of it. Really glad I went with Python, and I'm happy with the slate grey T package (had been a little nervous but I think the contrast is enough - it doesn't photograph well and looks better in person). Can't provide substantive driving impressions yet, I'm still in a daze!

18 month well child check tomorrow so let’s put those back seats to use! Let’s just say the passenger seat in this configuration is “inaccessible,” haha. I do have a truck I could drive but you know…the 911 is a lot more fun!
Had a day off work today so got to do some serious detailing and added the ceramic on top of the PPF. Looking shiny!

Today, the T got its first oil change and brake fluid flushed and upgraded to Motul. Let the games begin!
(BTW, tech tip: remove the engine cover before you warm up the car to do the oil change. This way you don't need to remove the coolant cap and drip hot coolant onto the exhaust. Speaking for a friend. )

I wasn’t going to touch this since really pointless. But……,if I could save even 1 person from making such a mistake it’s worth it. Only going to make this ONE post on this topic…period.
So story telling time ……….an acquaintance of mine bought a C8 and was so bored with it he decided to sell it and buy a Porsche GT4 and is definitely happy. He thought he was getting more bang for buck with the C8 until he realized the significant difference in build quality, R&D, driving characteristics, design, German engineering (Folks have to recognize how extremely good it is especially when compared to other brands), etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. I then let him drive my T and he will be selling his GT4 and getting a T to be happier. I also drove his C8. It was quick but definitely boring to drive on the streets or even the twisties. Build quality extremely disappointing. I’m not sure if some people realize how significantly a MT changes the fun factor also. My E63 AMG is auto but way more fun and just as fast if not faster than the C8. I could see the C8 may be useful on the track but it’s boring as heck to drive on streets. I agree with many C8 owners that feel this way. That sentiment is sprinkled all over the net. I have several acquaintances that work at GM as designers so I tend to be biased towards GM cars. But………I have to keep it real. Most of my such acquaintances drive German cars, mainly Porshas. If u really understand the nitty gritty of cars, there’s nothing to discuss there. I hear that some potential Porsche buyers do look at the C8 to save money………well, I recommend they think carefully. At minimum test drive both cars and if u don’t understand what’s been shared….have nothing else to say to that person. My acquaintance lost a good amount selling his C8 since their demand/prices have really dropped………

@ECNJ GT4 is a great car but it' doesn't have the road manners of a 911. It will outshine the 911 at the track, but as a daily, the 911 wins hands down, and I presume the T will sit right between the GT4 and the S in terms of fun factor.

Never driven a CGTS so can't speak from experience but GT4 has different, stiffer, and more track focused suspension. Maybe softer than my GT3, which is no fun on bad roads but, not by much. My decision was between a GT4 and a T. I chose the T in part because I wanted something that wasn't going to beat me up on bad roads.

I had a deposit on the first run of the C8. First the workers strike pushed my date back, then COVID happened and I was effectively going to get a 'one year old new car'. Cancelled my order and bought a used 991.2T instead. Now I'm on my 3rd Porsche and a loyal customer. So happy the C8 didn't work out!
