Big congrats. My respect for having the discipline to stick with only two options. As for owning an expensive car.... I bet that will pass within the first drive or two. It's just a car and there's always insurance if something happens. Don't let worry interfere with your joy. We're all very lucky to enjoy such Iuxuries. Offer up your gratitude and then just have fun!

Well, another reason for a new trip to the museum.
First one was almost 20 years ago, when it was just a small hall inside the factory.

Edit: this is the 2021 edition, there are also 2013 and 2014 ones, all around 3-500€🤭.
They will reprint a 2023 edition, to be released at the end of October, revised and brought up to date (2023). Preordered that one.

Thank you and thank you all for the well wishes and congratulations! It is admittedly an exciting time and it seems like this vehicle is already brightening the spirits of my loved ones. To answer your question, the only options I went with are the Exclusive Wheels and the silver exhaust tips. I think both of those options will look good together against Guards Red. I know the low option count is in line with the Ethos, but it is also in line with what the maximum amount of what I wanted to pay!

It actually sounds a lot better, at least without the backseats. Have no idea how much they influence the sound. Today drove with a friend who had only driven a 992 S and he was extremely surprised by the big sound difference.

Thanks for your helpful words. A lot to understand and learn here for me. But the stability at high speeds was not much worse as I expected (like you said). Did a run today finally. 191mph. Had some room left. Will probably do around 310-311km/h I think. So my break-in method can be called succesfull right? Engine really feels amazing.

Love GR, I got mine in that color too! The exclusive wheels and silver tips are going to look great with GR! I went with a few select options and kept it to a minimum as well.

You are welcome!
I have the rear seats and I don’t think they reduce of muffle anything. I constantly discover towards the end of my drives that I again forgot to turn on the radio or play music from the usb stick😅🤭. The sound inside is that good! And I have the Burmester🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

You still have 500 rpm until max power, so yeah, there is some room left🤙🏻😜
And I should be ashamed, living near so many unrestricted sections of autobahn and only got to 250-260 km/h until now😌😋

Impressive given the top track speed listed for the Carrera T is 181mph on Porsche's website! I assume there's a safety/liability buffer and the speed shown is every-so-slightly more than the actual speed. We need you to try again with specialist GPS timing gear to give you an actual number!

A cheap (and slightly less accurate option) would be a GPS speed app on your smartphone. I think the most I hit on the Autobahn was 269kph in a 2019 Targa 4 GTS. It only had 600 km on the odometer--I guess Porsche doesn't care to advise any break-in method for its rentals through Porsche Drive.
