@Uhu I bought a special anniversary 550 Boxster S in 2004. It commemorated 50 years of the original 550 (similar to the one above, the car that James Dean died in sadly). It was badged "50 Years of the 550 Spyder" and only 1,953 were produced.
Porsche boosted the 3.2-litre flat-six engine to 264 BHP, up from 258.
Most of the 1953 units were finished in a special GT Silver Metallic, a colour only found on the Carrera GT and ‘40 Years of the 911’ models.
Absolute beaut of a car, sadly had to sell it after 2 years with just (a sinful amount!) 3k miles on the clock as the family grew.
BTW was never a fan of the "fried egg' headlights on this car and the 996!

Maybe I should've installed a lift in the garage instead. 😭

After two days and approximately 950 miles we've made it home with our T.
I saw the Gentian Blue in the showroom 14 months ago, and fell in love with the color. But since then, every time I saw a picture of a Gentian Blue car it just didn't seem to pop and have the presence that the car i saw 14 months ago had, as a result I was really nervous when we took delivery that it wasn't going to look as good as I remembered back on that day in the showroom... I'm happy to say, that the car is just as amazing looking in person as I hoped it would be. The Gentian Blue is exactly what I was looking for - the weather was so bad in Atlanta that it was the day after we picked the car up that I finally saw it in sunlight, and this morning was the first time I saw it in sunlight and clean, and it's exactly what I was aiming for. I'm not sure that my photos do Gentian Blue justice either though...

991.1 traded in.
A little gift to the thread - one of the best Porsche brand ambassadors will do a video review on his channel of my 992T for delivery. Will post it on this thread, and add it to the first post if possible. Just a few more days!

T minus ~30 days
New to Rennlist, and a first-time Porsche owner! After more than 2 years of waiting for my GTS allocation, I was informed it would be another year, however, for the pain of waiting they provided me with this allocation, '23 Carrera T. After much research and many conversations with enthusiasts, it seems I came out on top with this one! 7spd, IGM.
Any suggestions or tips are welcomed!

Yes - you’ve been lucky getting into the T.
Every (every!) review of the T so far has referred to it as the best non GT version of the 992, a future classic!
Not long now….
