I love it when people take the time and effort to match different interior/exterior colors of the car. Even though many people will not like it (the dealer understands this well) I would rather see some color than standard black interiors.

When you say it like that it probably is a lot more. 1500 laps I think is a better estimate. But started back in 2001 so it’s more than 20 years of driving there.

Someone earlier mentioned it was a bit of a shame the 992 T did not have a lot of the Race-Tex options. Basically the same ones as the standard Carrera S. The GTS however is specced with more alcantara, just like the GT3 models. Of course Porsche needs to differentiate.

But I just found out the 911 Dakar does get a lot of new Race-Tex goodies the other models will not get. The full upper dashboard (new). The inlays even (new). The lower dashboard (not new see GTS). The air vent (new). The inner sill door guards (new). The fuse box (new). And lastly the mirror cap which is available on the T.

And this is a bit frustrating. Or maybe it would be more frustrating if it was available since my order is locked in of course. Anyhow, don’t quite understand why a 992 T is not getting these goodies but the Dakar is. At least we have the pictures to enjoy !

I understand the frustration over lack of options for deviated stitching in the T but am thankful the Lizard Green T package will compliment my GT Silver colored car!

The Carrera T is begging for a Pascha interior. If my seat inserts get stained or worn...it's my no brainer plan B.
Especially easy without a rear seat. Just center seat and door panels.

This is just a dream combination. Love GT silver and works brilliant with the green interior. Can’t wait to see your pictures, who surely will make me jealous!

Well, the way I see it is this: exterior color is important but the interior is as or more important because that's what you'll be seeing an awful lot of hence the splurge on my part for the $7K interior upgrade.

I came into this wanting a green car, had I not I would be happy they are offering the deviated stitching package this time around. The checkerboard pattern is actually very nice and paired with deviated belts I think you have the entire package. You may even end up with more deviated stitching than the rest of us. (steering wheel!)

Nah, other side of the pond. You don’t think you’ll miss the power?

I’m really surprised you sold the GT350 (and got a good price, BTW) and kept the Cayman, given the incoming T.

it was a tough decision to sell the GT350. But I don't have the room to keep 3 and when else will I be able to sell it after 5 years of ownership and make $3k?

The Cayman is just a year old and I absolutely love everything about it but one thing, it's not a 911. I'm not sure what the future will hold but this is today's decision.

My build is already above $140K without deviated stitching or additional leather. I wonder who's got the spend-iest T build, i.e. the furthest away from the T ethos!? 😁

Do you follow "Seen Through Glass on Youtube?"
He just did those seats on his new Racing Green GT3

I'm thinking of doing the same. How much did you get for your GT350?
