I do not like the looks either, and obviously it does not come close to the history of the 911. Also, no backseats. My only Cayman was a 981 GT4. Didn’t keep it long and never went back.

I do love mine, but it's in spite of the looks. I love the car, the two seater aspect is fine also. It's just no 911.

I was torn on the leather interior as well. On the one hand, this is a lightweight back to basics model and should not have expensive leather added. On the other hand, it's a specific model and I thought I might be disappointed if I did't get the interior package that's unique to this car. In the end, I went will the full leather T interior with grey stitching. I agree with others that more color options would have been nice. I also agree with toph4242 that the basic interior is fine. I have had a few with full leather and a few with no leather and I've enjoyed them all.

I absolutely adore my Boxster (base) 300PS MT. The performance, the balance, the fell… I almost bought the Cayman GTS 4.0, but I needed more cabin room for travel across Eurp.
I will have my 992 T in May, I think it is perfect GT car.

I honestly CANT believe that Porsche released that color and has almost ZERO content on it... Those Boxster press photos are so staged that its hard to tell what this color will look like... Anyways, @AdamIsAdam Thank you! My car will be built at that point, so I might have some production photos to share by then as well too... My car will be built in 25 days!

Regarding comparing 718 and 992 interiors, I'm told the standard interior in the 992 is way nicer than the standard interior in the 718.
Agree that, as nice as 718s are, there is just something about a 911. My first was a brand new 1970 911T, which I fear hooked me on 911s for the rest of my life.
God bless you,
TT

Something like a Mazda 3 has a leatherette covered dashboard that looks better than the standard interior of the 991.
That’s why (for me) the upgrade to a leather dashboard was a must have.

I think Ruby Star Neo is pretty close to the PTS Ruby Star?

I’ve locked in my color; Python Green. Chose the standard interior—thanks for the input. And as a minor nod to being able to spec the car, I chose silver grey belts. Hopefully they lighten up the interior and work with the seat inserts and so on.

She's got quite the collection. If her father had Serial #1 Testarosa, I have to assume there's some old money there.
