No worries, mate... I am pleased that you are getting yours now... I am getting mine just in time for summer... WooHoo!
Been waiting for 992S for 15 months at another OPC... I am delighted to get a fast allocation :-)

On the RAS issue. Given that Porsche adds it to all the higher performance level cars - even the much lauded GT3 which reviewers seem to suggest is an amazing car in terms of handling- why would I second guess the Porsche designers and not include it in my build?
if you don’t order RAS or add PDK the T is kind of pointless. At least with the base Carrera you have more choices in terms of interior trim colors.

That scary part is that almost makes me want to add it back in. 😂😂😂

I decided on Guard’s red after several months of struggling with the same choice between green or red. I finally changed the build to Guards red - followed the old rule if torn between two choices all things seemingly equal- pick the least costly choice. Clearly Red which is free win’s. Free or $3,000 plus? Also I have to believe that on resale the red has a much larger universe of potential buyers than the green which is clearly more controversial. I read an article that had the stats on color selection for new c8 Vettes and the most popular color was red.
I do have a small advantage as I have actually two 911 T’s on order one build Guard’s red and a simple build at $123,000 and the second build in Neo Rubystar with a fully optioned build at $150,000 or so. One car will stay in California and the other back East with my son so I can do some driving with my son who just bought a new base Carrera PDK white and gray interior. I struggle with colors on new cars and my son who is very practical picked white because it was free, easy to repair and “looks clean most of the time” and “any color is fine - I can’t see the color anyway when driving”. He ordered the car, never looked at TMD once, and of course that car had no delays and showed up at the dealer almost exactly time-wise as first estimated. Simple build while mine always have lots of options and the stitching and when I drive his car it is perfectly acceptable and does not feel much different than my highly optioned 911 Targa. He also did not put PPF on the car and a year later - not a scratch. His solution “Don’t tailgate”.

Paint color trim?
Hi guys, has anyone done interior trim in outside paint color?
I normally wouldn’t go this route, but wondering if it would work for GT Silver, to lighten up the interior a little, since there are so few other trim alternatives.
Would be awesome to see real pictures of GT silver interior trim, but haven’t been able to find any.
Thanks

Also mentioned that I wasn't trying to sway anyone either way, just sharing my experience since many wont have the luxury of driving 2 cars back to back. Do whatever makes you happy

Making me wonder if all of our "Finish Production Dates" being pushed out to the 13th means the start date was also pushed and the system only updated one

If I was still at a point in my life where I daily drove a 911, this would have been my choice. GT Silver is one of the best silvers I have seen, I agree with the comment that bringing the silver inside the cabin is more refined than racy and the green stitching compliments the silver fantastically. For me, for my use, bright colors inside and out or nothing.
