Sweet! Yeah it was the closest Porsche color to Tanzanite Blue (color of my previous M3) LOL.

I opted for the heated race Tex steering wheel. Does anyone know if the heated unit is a thicker wheel as opposed to the non heated? I hope not. I like the thinnest version of the steering wheel. I was going to get the regular wheel but my SA convinced me to add the heated version.

I have the Race Tex heated wheel and it feels normal sized and not too thick at all. Its a winner! Wifey loves it as well although I've told her no hand cream!

I posted a pic above of the heated race tex wheel. Doesn't feel too thick to me.

Your pic looks like the thicker wheel as opposed to the straight non heated GT3 wheel, but it may just be the photo. The heated wheel is not offered on GT3 so I started to wonder if it's different from these heated units. I had some 991's which had a slightly thicker wheel and some that were not like that, so just trying to figure out which is which. A moot point I guess since I believe my car is now being built.

Yeah. I don't have much of a frame of reference to compare. Looks and feels thinner than the chunky heated wheel I had on my M3

That blue is sharp btw. I was torn between that and black. My daughter wanted the Gentian. I went black because I love how a dirty black 911 goes unnoticed, but I'm thinking that blue might be the ideal color for the 992.

I understand that the T comes without a rear window defroster. Is that an issue for anyone?

I know this dealership! Were you there a couple weekends back for the Cars and Croissants?

Congrats on the new T, Gentian is awesome

Does it have the wires in the glass? Or?

Yes 992 rear windshield has an almost invisible mesh of wires in the glass. You can usually see when the sun hits it or when headlights from behind shine on it.
