When I told my wife that I was getting the T. She was upset that I didn't do european delivery. My salesman inquired and it wes looking even though my production was May I would be able to take delivery unitl late summer and then it would take two months to get to me. It sounds like you are being told about the same thing. I told my salesman no to that. Its a bummer because this is the very first porsche I have ordered new and always dreamed of it.
@duktail You have my sympathy - late summer seems a ridiculously long time to have to wait for delivery if you’re collecting the car in Europe!
It must be be because they’re trying to discourage it??
Picked my car up yesterday at Monmouth Porsche in NJ. I absolutely love it so far and I'm super impressed with the car. I obviously kept the revs low, but I was worried that this car would feel drastically underpowered compared to my 992S that I traded, but it felt just the same, if not more eager at low RPM. I fell right back into the manual like I’d never left (991.2T was manual). Hard to keep it under 3k RPMs but the handling feels super tight and compliant and amazingly comfortable. It sounds very 'growly' too but I'm guessing that's just on the inside for now. No pops and bangs in Sport so I assume the cats need to bed in or something. The base audio is fine too, not as rich and bassy as the Bose system but its fine for this car. Extremely happy with this beast and can't wait to get through break-in! Thanks to my two buddies Willie and Calvin that tagged along and took pics and vid and completed the Red White and Blue!

I love you did the clear corners at the dealer before it left. Looks 100% better. And good to hear about the base stereo.

Your car looks amazing. Congrats! I love how the character of these cars can change with a few tweaks. Your red + wing + roof + SD is a great combo.

My SA was dying to post pics of it but waited until I got there. After I left he said several people showed up just to see the car. It's a head turner for sure!
It was heavy traffic all the way home and in 56 miles I had 2 thumbs up, 1 guy slowed next to me an yelled that I was in his dream car, an M3 and a C63 tried to race me, and 1 hot mom gave me a pretty steamy look, so @Barkat03 your estimations were correct about the T
Nice to see more pics of owners with actual delivered cars rather than boats, wood piles, questionable attire, and kitchen appliances. Congrats to you all and keep the Carrera T pics coming!
M3 kept racing up next to me then letting the BLAP BLAP BLAP BLAP bmw backfires go off. Bro just stop.
BTW a pro-tip I figured out on RList is just manually type in the [img] [/img] tags and paste the giphy address between em and it embeds
Dude, people that try to race you are the bane of my existence. However, the other type of attention is fully welcomed. Congrats again. She's a looker!
