With all these changes in mind, I have a question. I ordered a 2024 T with the intent of selling/ trading my 2023 that now has 6k miles. Now I’m rethinking getting rid of the 2023 and just keeping both. I’d have to make some moves and use money currently getting 5% apr that is for retirement. What would you do? Both T’s are highly optioned with leather, deviated stitching and the 2024 has LWBS. 2024 is GT Silver and 2023 white with lizard interior aerokit and CF roof. I realize these are just base cars and not GT.
Edit: Ive already made down payment on the 2024 and it’s being built in mid June.

Burning Brakes
Windows up, with down, and behind car, tons of turbo whistles down low, higher pitched up top, WOT it just sounds angry.

I like the fact that it is quiet in standard mode and opens-up loud with PSE on.
It would be incredible to keep both. But if you keep only one, do not let the MY2024 with the 918 buckets go. The 918 buckets could only be had with the T and GTS variants of the Carrera. Only very few 992 Carrera T's have the lightweight bucket seats, as they only became available (despite the misleading configurator) in the second half of the final year of production. And just as they are with the 991.2 Carrera T, 992 examples with the 918 buckets will be the most sought after down the road.
Has anyone taken their car in for the first year service yet? I just hit the 1 year with 2000 miles and took it in for the oil change, etc. I got the car back and swear there was a software update that gave it noticeably more power. I regularly drive it hard so it was easy to notice. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.

I picked mine up from my PPF guy on 5/20 with 85 miles on it, and now 10 days in I'm at 771 miles. At this rate, I'll be doing my 1 year service at the 8 or 9 month mark... #Daily_Driver
@Guards_GT4 please share the details of the parts you bought and replaced?

The turbos really dial back the sound compared to an NA car. So while loud at WOT and exhaust flaps open, it’s mild closed and part throttle, I would say it’s the equivalent of stock exhaust with flaps open. so with flaps open in sport mode it is tolerable.
also drone is almost non existent at normal cruising RPMs.
if you check out my YouTube, this is the most modest compared to OAP deleted GT4 with PSE or RS4 with JHM catless dps + milltek non-res.
Downsides are mild smell, and CEL (will require tune) and every couple years you will have issues with inspections unless managed….
I’ve done all sorts of exhaust work on my 20+ enthusiast cars over the years and this is by far the easiest and most impactful change I’ve made with maybe the least effort.
I was starting to really get board of the 3.0s muted nature. I was beginning to shop GT4s again. Once I did the exhaust work, it’s game over, I’m hooked again.

She's here
Just took official delivery of my T. Will be picking her up next week after PPF. Super excited to get a T configured exactly to my specs. Long time BMW driver here, finally made the leap to the dark side
