Yes, configurator is ultra-slow today as toph states, probably under construction.

Correct. Many people who buy a 911 somehow believe it will fit some other dark/silver parts of the car. But in reality it just doesn’t. No problem if you don’t care about it. But don’t expect it to match with something. Basically it’s pretty off looking. If your into basic stuff and driving of course you will not care. But if you carefully are speccing you’re (one and only?) car I think it’s really something to consider. When going full leather not something to miss. It’s a must option on every 911 convertible.
Some people really prefer the hard back seats, painted to match or not. And they also don't care who can see it from outside. It is mostly visible when you flip the seat forward to put something in back.

Color matched seatbacks can look great

It better be fixed before work tomorrow, i wouldn't want to actually get any real work done. Sets a bad precedent.

Just because my industry, and I have nothing else to contribute, I doubt it. Modern web apps are usually quick to update (imagine uploading a copy of the entire configurator with the updates, then when that's complete, telling clients to use the new copy, rather than the old one -- the customer sees an instantaneous upgrade with zero downtime or slowness) and nobody is going to work on weekends unless they're desperate. Probably makes more sense that it's just not well designed, and there's some issues.

I already mentioned that myself. But if you do care it’s something to consider. Furthermore I have never seen it in real life but I honestly think it will be very visible from the outside which I would like walking towards the car.

I will post here all options. This blue leather one is my current car:

Here a good example on a convertible to give a good example why leather to me on this kind of specs is a must:

On the T is should be dark silver (no idea if the above was lighter silver) but I included a picture that I could find of the backside of the T:

Clearly looks a bit dark so most people should be more than fine with it.

And here the 2 configurator options: full leather backside in black leather and the other one in exterior color:

The dark silver plastic shall probably be like the bottom part of the seat on the side.

What aftermarket changes are compatible with the T ? To get things started my first one will be GT3 side skirts, not sure if they should be left plastic, painted agate gray, or painted GT silver to match. What else is in keeping with the the Ethos?

I'm actually neutral on skirts but, if there, the factory GT3 style does a great job protecting the rear fender paint. To my eye skirts with less dings in the paint is a win overall. And, they are about half the price of factory installed Carrera skrits,

I'd leave them plastic

I'll have to see how the shifter feels-if vague and rubbery, out it goes and hello Numeric. I'll probably do the Numeric pedals as I would prefer to leave auto-blip off as I've been heel/toeing for decades and these pedals look conducive to advancing that art.

Anyone considering a white T? I think the white with green interior pack would look good.

I wish Carrara White was available instead of just the poverty white. But yeah white with side graphics and green looks really nice. I've seen a white 991 with green stitching inside and it was very appealing

Do you mean Carrara White Metallic? Carrara White hasn’t been available for the 911 for several years.
