Car & Driver seems to test just about every iteration of Porsche sports car thankfully. I'd bet we see one of their road tests on the T within the next two months or so. Hopefully similar to their test of the 991.2 T where they tested both a manual and PDK car for the same article.

@stiff///M Looks like I am still weeks behind you. I finished production yesterday and I'm on my way to the port!

I have heard this said a few times on the forum but I don't think that is the case; mine landed at Grimsby and then arrived directly at my dealership in Hull and I believe that is the case for all their cars. In fact some pull up outside at the same time as the notification that the ship docked and cars enroute arrives in their notifications. Are you sure that isn't just the Porsche owned dealerships?

As of yet we have these road test reviews, but nothing like a full-on instrumented test (which I'm not sure we'll see as it might be seen too close to a base Carrera):

I hope C&D does something similar as they did previously: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...eration-specs/

For those of you (like me) who are obsessed with finding out every bits and pieces of information possible,
On the Canadian TYD site (hopefully the same with US and others), using the same hack methods, I have found another file that may be interesting.
Log into the account, go to "Overview", then click on "View Order"
Right click anywhere and left click "Inspect" (I'm using Safari on MacOS). Click on "Network" Tab (same method as the YouTube video for the hack stated earlier).
Click on "Refresh" if it is not loading properly
If you scroll down, I have found a file called "USCxxxxxx" where xxxxxx is your comm number. You can also double check as the URL for TYD in Canada is https://my.porsche.com/core/ca/en_US...ream/USCxxxxxx
This file is just above "Order-summaries"
Inside that file, it will V status (Currently V250) for me.
The exact time each milestone is expected to be reached. Interestingly my production says 04/20, but the actual page states 04/21 at 00:00:00 (GMT time).
Towards the bottom, it also shows the URL of generated images. Including a few shots that are not always included (Direct front and Direct rear view).
The Last line says "ProductionImages". Currently blank, but I guess this is where you will find the URL when the pictures are available.
The same file also lists all the option codes and description of the build.

As with previous generation, I see no reason why the 992 T shouldn't replicate those numbers. As there has not/will not be a base Carrera with manual, we can't make a comparison between base and T. In the previous 991.2 C&D tests, there was a difference between base Carrera manual and Carrera T manual. Very slight but there was a measured difference. And what does it all matter.....very little. The performance of these cars is soooooo close that seat of the pants impressions would be minimal.

We still don't know what the gears are in the T vs Base vs S, do we? How do you find out? I assume one cannot lift the rear tires and count rotations of tires vs driveshaft like you can on a front engine/rear drive car. But is there something else that can be done?
