-2 for leather and Burmeister, +1 for extended tank.

RAS and the CF Roof. The RAS because I've heard nothing but positive things, the Roof because it looks amazing and I also think will be one of those rare differentiators downstream if you ever go to resell.

PDK cars were slow sellers. As it should be.

Do I get any points back for the weight savings from the deletion of the side decals and reducing the lettering to just 911?

It is getting more difficult to justify the OEM Titanium bolts! I definitely want to get the carbon roof and the more I look at the configurator the more I am liking the Exclusive wheels. I just wonder if there is any significant difference in weight between the two. I personally think Guards Red is a classic colour and will look great with the carbon roof as well, not to mention it’s a no cost option!

Titanium bolts are silly. My 718T OEM bolts are 471g per corner, there's no way Porsche is pulling out their stated weight loss from switching to titanium. The Acer titanium bolts are 327g per corner.

The Carrera exclusive wheels are forged and are stronger and probably slightly lighter than the two cast wheel options, with the RS spider wheels being the heaviest

The CF roof saves something like 4 pounds for $4k. It’s bling. Personally, I don’t think it makes sense on a T.

Is there any value in upgrading the headlights from the base LEDs? Is PDLS worth it?

I am probably adding the PDLS+ for the dynamic headlights. I had that on my 991.2 T and really liked them. Totally not necessary but they are a nice upgrade and I think better lights improve driving. Hell, if my rear wheels are steering so should the headlights!

Exclusive wheels + RAS for me

I'm also going 18 ways though, that probably counts.

4lbs certainly sounds a lot less impressive than "30% reduction in weight" as it says on the configurator.

I would have considered it if you could have it painted

I wondered about this with the 991.2T. In ROW markets, the infotainment could be deleted and a nice pocket was installed. In the US, the requirement for a rear view camera made infotainment mandatory.

I think it looks good with some colors but I prefer a painted roof with chalk. 4 lbs doesn’t seem significant enough to me. My m3 has a carbon roof - got caught in a hail storm once and the sound of hail hitting the roof is quite different. Suppose it is nice that it won’t take dents?

Exactly. The PDK cars and other T’s where the builds didn’t make sense to potential buyers (often dealer builds). Seems like a lot of people don’t understand what really happened with the 991.2 T sales.
