I like the standard lights as well. Auto start/stop almost never gets triggered in a manual, we have it on our 718 as well and I think my wife said it activated a couple of times. We will be tuning both this spring so it will be gone anyway.

Yes, as well as go into your setting and program one of the available diamond buttons to disable “engine off” for those rare times you might be driving in normal mode. You will have to push it every time, It’s the only way off in that mode that I’m aware off turn off.

My 2024 Cabriolet does. Not sure what the other poster was referring to. Seems unlikely they are sending some cars with it, some without to the US.

Auto start stop is standard, but also dependent on battery reserve, easy to turn off by putting car in Sport as soon as you get in, normal mode is fake only there for fuel consumption/ emission reasons.

This has not been my experience at all.

This ⬆️ I am highly confident that A.S.S. is now Federally mandated within the U.S. Edit: If it is not yet, it will be.

I live somewhere where, between my house and what could be recognised as a road, there is mainly mud and stones.
So, rear arch protection is important. Currently I am going with double PPF in that area, and the windscreen too.
I was wondering about installing discreet front mud flaps like these below and wondered if anybody else had installed something similar ?

With regard to tinted glass, or privacy glass as Porsche call it, I am not a fan of the aesthetic.
However, we specced it in.
The reason being that we intend to tour in this car. Consequently the area behind the seats will get used for luggage. On a European multi week trip, the frunk isn’t going to be enough.
So, a measure of privacy when parked, will be welcome.
The tommy flaps are on my to do list this week, will update but think @Vernin could give feedback. i did think the quality was a little wonky for the price and some gen Z nerd with a 3d printer could prob do better

Also caved and bought shark fins but (might) have made a template for the repeated wear and tear trakwrap.

my hips (and yours) will be pounded single PPF layer aint enough.......

A factory solution to the gloss black ‘Lower’ center console trim.

PSA - the AWE wind diffuser is on sale right now. $88. I was at a gathering last weekend and a few 992 owners asked me about them. For non-sunroof cars, it really quiets the cabin down when the windows are open. Sale ends tomorrow?

While a nice option, unfortunately that does not replace the gloss black portion of the center console. That lower portion is a dark silver textured plastic as standard, so just turning that area into leather.

The leather you can easily skip if you don’t care. The chrono in color is a must. Both same color makes more sense I would say.

About the lights: as long as you (and others!) at least know that the base light has a different look (which I personally dislike to say the least). What has been seen…

Not in a T… that lower section is also gloss black. A T has nothing but gloss black trim as standard. Interior trim painted in exterior color is a no cost option.

Edit: Added pic of my own T.

Interior trim painted in external colour is an option for a limited number of colours I believe?
Certainly not for PTS.
I tried and was prepared to spend some money, but just got a big, fat, “Nien !”.
