Wow - that’s 10 months from order to delivery. Got to be one of the longest I’ve heard of!
Did you order PTS?
Was not approved for PTS (I wanted Acid Green). I ended up with a equally polarizing Ruby Star Neo with Black/Racing Yellow stitching and a LOT of options... (many of them are Exclusive Manufacture) so I'm guessing that pushed it out a few times.
Thoughts on ice grey metallic with green T interior package? Ice grey seems to have a blue hue which might conflict with the bright green accent color. Anyone have that combo?
if you search Ice Grey Carrera T in YouTube you’ll see a short with that exact color combo. It looks great! I ended up doing the slate grey interior package because I didn’t want that much green but it was definitely stunning.
My freeze date is April 25 and production will complete June 6. I am waiting on confirmation of my European Delivery date, which if it happens will probably be in August.
I can't see this working. You'd be much better off with the slate grey interior package. If you want green inside, in my opinion the exterior should be green (unfortunately no longer available), black, white or yellow.

Funny story:
Took my new T out for its first proper thrashing on some twisties yesterday with only 400 miles on it (kept the rpms below 4500 for those OCD folks). The entire time I am hearing squeaks coming from the lower dash area. I HATE RATTLES AND SQUEAKS and have gone through massive efforts to eliminate them in cars. Typically, my P-cars have been rattle free. During my drive, I am getting more and more pissed because the squeaks continue and I am trying to figure out where they are coming from, already forming the dealer conversation in my head. Within about 10 minutes, I am code red and pissed on a level of 11.
After about 20 miles, I figured it out. The squeaks were my running shoes rubbing on the winter floor mats and the piece of plastic film which the dealer forgot to remove next to the gas pedal. The more I worked the (3) pedals, the worse the squeaks got. My panic subsided and I had to laugh at myself. Soon, I learned to like the squeaks because it meant the road was good (first time in my life).
Overall impression - the car is a great set up for driving. Very balanced. I am looking forward to using more of the rev range in the future since I don't think sub 4.5k rpms is optimal.

I bought a coil charge cable and plugged it into the port under the center lid. If I need to charge, that's where it will be although I almost never need to charge my phone during the day as I top it up every night. I also bought the rennline magsafe mount but haven't installed it yet.

Ditto. Hate squeaks and rattles. Hopefully, T holds up well over time. We’ll see. Someone gifted me this wireless iphone charging pad…see pic. Works great. I think they’re cheap and everywhere including amazon. Like @arrivederci i rarely need to charge in T, but it’s there if needed.
I think it’s prudent to avoid redline for a while. Many components need time breaking in, operating at varying temperatures and getting used to working together. This includes engine (pistons/cylinders, crank shaft, bearings, cam lobes, etc.), transmission, suspension, etc. Ha, i went on as many long lunch pickups varying RPMs / speeds as much as possible in the beginning. It didn’t take long before reaching 1K miles. 😃

No wireless charging is 👎

I never did Euro delivery on a BMW, but I have read a multiple individuals that have had this happen. It is U.S. customs, a federal agency under the advisory of U.S. DOT. No clue why VPC employees would steal tens of thousands of emergency triangles as there are much greater things they could remove from a vehicle of more significant value. While the emergency triangles are not illegal, they are regulated by the US Department of Transportation just like the Euro clear side markers that many U.S. owner later install.
Edit: BMW ceased Euro delivery to U.S. customers in 2020.
It has to do with importation. Not the legality of a warning triangle. No personal property in personally imported vehicles. I have heard they have started making it through, but the shipper removed the fire extinguisher as well in my experience.

That's actually the exact combo of our first T development car! I love the combo. The Ice Grey is super dynamic and can look close to either Chalk or Dolomite Silver depending on light and angle. The green isn't super yellow/warm and leans a bit to the cool side anyway which I think goes with the Ice Grey very well. Sadly, we're saying goodbye to the manual car as it's being traded for a PDK T in Python Green.

So I take it Cobb is tune ready for the 2042 911T 992.1?
