Some people will love it , some will hate it. That comes with the turf.
There is another dimension, of course.
With a brightly coloured sports car you open yourself up to the opprobrium of the kind of people who disapprove of such things based their convictions about inequality, the environment and what have you.
You are putting "your privilege in their face", they would say.
You might get verbal abuse, you might get keys along the side of your car.
In some wealthy northern European cities all you see in is black, grey or silver cars. A Dutch friend of mine's wife nearly divorced him when the Porsche he wanted to buy (and could easily afford) turned out to be Speed Yellow.
"What will the neighbours think" etc.
In the end you have to decide if you can live with that, if it matters to you.
Apologies for straying into the political arena folks.
Now, back to FAL, RAS, wheel choice and all the really important things in life !

Great… Porsche confirms glass defect and an impending safety recall is coming towards the end of April 2024. 8,101 U.S. 911s affected. Link to the thread with a link to the article as well. https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1401...ct-recall.html
That’s a lot of cars, not just those with light weight glass then?

🎉 my car finished production yesterday and I woke up this morning to see a couple of assembly photos! Status changed to “on the way to the German port”. I’m about 8 days ahead of the original schedule. Interestingly enough, all the dates have now changed to “not scheduled” including my delivery date. I’m assuming others have seen that before

Hi @Green_Tea The lightweight glass package is available on all models particularly for people who specify the GTS with the lightweight package, so maybe that number is real, certainly can't just be "T" 's? There has been conjecture about the production numbers of the T ? The 991/2 T was 5,000 so there is no doubt the current iteration is at least double or more in my view.
Best Devon Racer.
Best Devon Racer.
Thank you DR, I had forgotten about that option on the GTS.

For some reason the link in the thread to the article did not work for me...here is a direct link for those interested https://www.carscoops.com/2024/03/is...aulty-windows/
Yeah, it appears to work sometimes, other times it does not. I recently visited the page and the link did not work. I closed the page and clicked on the link for a second time and it worked. Weird.
