In case anyone hasn’t seen this latest video on the T yet… Matt Farah drives the 992 Carrera T at Thunderhill West for a “3 Lap Review” for Road & Track.

I was driving a 26’ U-Haul around Columbus, Ohio USA today and I spotted a blue 911 T and it looked amazing. Can’t wait to get my GTS out from under the covers in 10 days or so. I forgot how sweet these cars look in motion.

Porsche 911 Carrera T Is the Low-Key Enthusiast Choice (roadandtrack.com)
Would have thought Matt knew better that the T is no longer narrow body oh well - "Although the 992 is the biggest 911 ever, in narrow-body “T” form, particularly with the rear-steer option, it feels lithe, svelte, and agile."

Many months ago Matt and Johnny Lieberman dinged the 992 T on Spike’s Car Radio. They both felt it did not have enough power. They also stated that they preferred the 991.2 T. Take that as one desires. For me it went in one in one ear and out the other as I do not find either individual all that credible. They both tend to be more like influencers than automotive journalist.

I've found a LOT of the YouTube "journalists" that review cars lack much of the detailed knowledge and specifics of many of the cars they "review". But why let facts get in the way of a good story/video?

Most reviewers borrow the car for a couple days and the guys that buy an endless string of cars to review usually have so many they actually never drive the cars except once every three months to a burger drive through. Like Manny Koshbin - he can’t even recall where any of the controls are and even when he buys them he knows almost nothing about the cars. He never takes a car on long drives -/ when Manny picked up his Targa GTS at the dealer he was shocked when the salesman dropped the targa top!
