My Porsche SA said the auto maker has finally caught up, whatever that means. ADMs only on GT3s and up he still thought. My feeling is, every dealership is different, relationships, etc. I don’t think I would ever agree to an ADM but for some it’s just a minor annoyance.

They didn’t catch up, their production has been increasing each year, what it means is demand is not the same as a year or two or three ago. So Porsche still is producing more 911’s but the massive demand is not there so you see more and more cars that are not pre sold. In 2024 summer fall you will see actual 911’s brand new in dealer lots waiting to be sold.
We can only hope!

@Shortseller Side decals are essential to the look of a T. Hood decals are kind of tacky, IMO.

What is funny is there are so many young folks here who have no clue of Porsche history. Up until 992 era you would have easily picked a Porsche 911 base S 4 4S from a dealer lot without any issues and also could have negotiated well. I bought. 997 S in 2006, nice spec 88k msrp for 81k after an hour of negotiations. Then I bought a 991 2015 Carrera S and got 7% off msrp with an extra year of service included. 992 came out around a time where the biggest asset bubble of the last decade happened along with massive government stimulus and the Covid issue, things went crazy but not only for Porsche for almost all auto brands. It was not the norm.
Norm has always been plenty of 911’s to pick from on your dealer lot. Negotiate and get a discount. Or custom order etc. But 2020-2023 period is not the norm and will never be the norm.

On some colors the side decal suites the 992 rather well, while on other colors it looks blah. As usual, to each their own…

Has anyone installed these on the Carbon Fiber roof of a 911 Carrera T yet?

Good News. Even though it's special order, it's available from Porsche if you ever want to put it on again.

Yep, old news though. Free at time of order versus approx $500 total via professional install after the fact.

Never seen them? Why would you do that though?
