Lets not pretend the 992 T is sold on every corner. The more the merrier for such a brilliant car?
It was because of the introduction together with the first GT3 touring. After the R this was mega news. And the T could not overwin that.

I recently ordered a 992 T that is scheduled to arrive this summer, and I am looking for high quality images of the checkered sport-tex interior that is standard as well as what the seats would look like if I opt for the ventilated seats. My dealer is telling me that if ventilated, then the seats will be entirely black leather. I am a new user, so please excuse me if this question has already been covered in another post. I learned to drive manual on a 911, and I am excited to be a part of this community!

Your SA is correct. If you get ventilated, you lose the sport text. Most of us would suggest skipping that option on a T.
I personally am a bit fan of the sport tex pinstriping you get with the T package. Makes it a bit more unique since only the T can get that striping.

The pictures you seek of the Checkered Sport-Tex are on the previous page. https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1230...l#post19274485

@droz84 Hope this helps but this is what it looks like with vented seats and full leather. For me as stated before, I only chose vented seats as it was the only way to get full leather in a T. However I am a stodgy Englishman with certain preferences! You will lose the 911 head rest logos and the sport tex seats
which are a T hallmark. You will however NOT be disappointed with your purchase whatever spec you chose. As so many people on this forum say it's your car make it what you want and don't be influenced by others choices. Good luck hope it comes soon, Best Devon Racer.

Every post I've read about the ventilated seats option means a harder seat that may be slightly less comfortable. I wouldn't know as I have the Lizard Green T package on my T and absolutely love it, not hot at all and very comfortable.

@droz84 I live in a very hot and humid climate which is torturous to me because I get hot easily. I thought ventilated seats were non-negotiable until I sat in racetex seats. I now have black racetex in my Macan and black sportex in my 992 T. Zero need for ventilated seats. Ventilated seats are fully covered in leather and IMO, not as nice or sporty as the sportex. I don't think I'm alone in thinking sportex seats are the nicest seats in the 992 second only to the buckets. Hope that helps.

Well it’s back😡
The curse of the extended spoiler refusing to retract (it can only be fully and partially extended via the dash but that’s it).
This happened 3 months ago and the OPC fixed it.
Loads of stories on different forums about this happening to 992’s, 991’s 997’s etc etc.
Cmon Porsche …. sort these annoying issues out, you’ve had enough years to do it.
FYI this can occur if leaves etc get into the ‘well’ under the spoiler, no leaves in my case

FWIW I chose the leather interior with Sport Tex centers and think the seats are awesome. The Sport Tex heats up really quickly, I'm in Maine, and I have no doubt will be much cooler in the summer. I've had ventilated seats before but used them very little so that was a no-go for me.

Joining the club! & First post. Been reading through this thread for months! Lock date is 2/28, estimated arrival 5/10. Owned a 997s before, only drove it 5k miles in 3 years, so this is going to be my DD. Luckily, I had my name down in December and it only took 2 months for allocation. Wanted the painted front lip, but sounds like that’s out of production now.

If this is software bug then they will need to know what is the exact sequence that trips it. Developers and even testers tend to stick to the testing script, as designed. But as you said it is widely reported, so it should be diagnosed and problem isolated by now.
