My car's price (inc options) just went up from £107k ($132k) to £114k ($141k).
NO intention of doing so but if I sold it pre-owned with delivery mileage on the clock I'd make a fat profit.
There are more important things in life than money, one of which is driving a 911 on an open winding country road
Delivery tomorrow but no pics as I won't see it - it's being whisked off for PPF.
Unveiling in a week. Can't decide what to wear but I've ruled out just going in a swim costume on the basis some people might faint!

So after reading through some of the price hike discussion, if I understand correctly if you have a 2023 car you should NOT be affected by the price hike correct?
My car was built just a couple of weeks ago and its sitting at the port of Emden waiting for a boat to the west coast. Hoping I dont have to deal with this potential price increase
Thanks everyone.

One for all you manufacturing process aficionados.
In this case a Turbo S but mostly similar to any other 911 / 992.

Well, this price hike makes me want to see what the 992.2 will have to offer even more now.

ATl / LA PEC deliveries have gone up by over 100%! Such a shame as this was a great value if you wanted something special. But now you really have to think hard whether you want to spend an extra $2K for the experience.
As someone who was waiting for bucket seats and bose, guess I have to pay the Porsche increase tax. Also solidified my feeling to for sure spec buckets since it would make me sad to pay for comfort seats knowing a month ago it would have saved me ~$10K lol! Either way, I am happy buckets are back!

Price hike might rule me out. I was struggling to keep it around 140, my one high 40s "kitchen sink" build just loaded at 162k+
Something is going on with Euro/PEC delivery as well. Euro used to be free, now there's "euro transport" that's free (and what my saved config option mapped to) and "euro delivery" for $1500. PEC ATL/LA increased from ~$500 to $2k.

This isn't 992.2. This is just a price hike/model year change. 992.2 won't be a quiet configurator update, there will be press releases and announcements of the changes (which typically include engine and mild styling/interior changes) and a delay before they show up on the configurator (like how it usually happens with a new trim level being announced).
