I was under the impression via various social media post by PCNA that the ST displayed at Rennsport was Bahama Yellow.
Bahama Yellow was the PTS color that I requested for my T and was denied. Just weeks later they unveiled the ST at Rennsport in Bahama Yellow so I partially suspected maybe that was why I was told no 🤷♂️

I haven't seen her without roof racks and the RRT since September.

Got a T allocation a few weeks ago and finally landed on a build: https://configurator.porsche.com/en-...dFrom=PRESM165
Change Freeze is 2/4, manufacturing complete 3/11, and delivery slated for 4/19

You missed the free storage package option. I haven't heard one person extoll the virtues of power steering assist, dealer can add it later if you're not satisfied with how the steering feels (won't happen I'd bet).

If you get the storage package do you also get the storage net in the trunk, or does that come anyway without selecting it?

Nice build! You probably already know this, but by choosing the seat ventilation, you not only lose the sport-tex seat centers which are unique to the T, but you also lose the “911” embroidery on the head rests which would’ve been in guards red deviated stitching to match the rest of the deviated stitching package you’ve chosen. But if the aim was to make the seat centers leather, I get it.

I don't literally use my T as a daily driver but I do use it for occasional chores. The Full Bucket Seats are not bad to sit in; they are just a pain to get in and out of. You have to fall into them; to get out, you put your hand on the door sill and pivot on your wrist. If you're 20-50 it's no big deal. If you're 50+ it's probably not reasonable. The thing that annoys me the most is that you can't really have anything in your back pockets when you sit in the seats and you can't be holding anything in your hands when you maneuver out of the seats. I'm just not sure what to do with my phone, wallet and keys every time I get out.

@TheSunTheSea Alcantara, RaceTex, and SporTex all do a great job of keeping your back cool without the need for ventilated seats, even in the very hot climate where I live. Ventilated seats are not worth skipping the substantially better looking SporTex seats over plain leather IMO.

Agreed re the storage package. I did not spec it as well. If it is repeatedly used, over time the netting stretches out and looks like $hit. Example, look at any Z3 Roadster/Coupe (M models included) that had storage netting on passenger side of the transmission tunnel. If one intends to keep their 992 indefinitely then I would skip it.
No additional gains other than what you see depicted in the configurator, the passenger side netting.

Vanity Plate
I have finally received my vanity plate or ego plate as people call them.
I wanted mine to be unique, a German word, 7 letters so it would fit on the plate and be a word that can in a sense sum up the 911, or sum up what makes the 911 so special.
I chose the word “Zeitlos” which means Timeless in German. It fully sums up the 911. The 911
has been around since 1963 so 60 years. You can look at a Porsche 911 from any time period in that 60 years and know it’s a 911. The body style, performance, reliability, and the drivability is Timeless. Not many if any sports car will ever compare to the impact the 911 has had on the world and each and every one of our lives. The love for the 911 will remain Timeless.

Just because things are free, doesn't mean you ought to order them. Skipped the storage package and the rear seats too. The one freebie to get is the manual transmission.
