The 911 is not a cheap car. Don’t let those last few dollars get in the way of your dream.

That must be a brilliant car! There aren’t many PTS T in the world so can’t wait for yours to arrive.

Thanks, what did you end up getting? I thought mine was unique and saw another one nearly identical on the road 😂

Here's an old picture I found from the 992 Carrera T launch , not sure if it was posted here before.

The GT steering wheel weighs more than the base steering wheel 😂 I can’t believe they would call that out if there’s a few ounces difference.

Default financing options

Where are folks finding good rates for loans right now? My credit union is offering 6.25% for 48 months

Big shout out to the T community: I joined this thread over a year ago and took delivery 4/27/23 and could't be happier with my choice. It's cool to see all the new additions getting their allocations/build locks/deliveries as I recall all too well the excitement I got from the same occurrences. Congrats and welcome to the best 992 family there is.

Thanks for posting this. And of course there are ways to build it even lighter, as we know. 918 Buckets, Exclusive Design wheels, etc.

I drove a guards red 992 T for 12 months. Then ordered a shark blue one with yellow stitching almost the same as yours. But couldn’t make a deal. You can find the car here:

https://finder.porsche.com/nl/nl-NL/...t&order=newest

When we couldn’t agree about the deal the dealer added the 18 ways and the glass sunroof.

Now I drive an IGM with black aero and red interior stitching and details (not specced by me).

Gave this a go last night - no difference between modes when you manually blip with sports exhaust on.

It is just way better sounding when the car does it automatically. Manually or auto blipping I’m making sure the revs are the same spike so that isn’t the issue. It’s almost like when the car does it the exhaust is “open” much more somehow.

If anyone knows a fix to get round this let me know or if your car behaves differently!

Shark Blue, SD front, leather, yellow stitching and seatbelts, RS wheels, FAL, large tank, MT. I think that's it.

Very happy so far with color and interior combo. Shark Blue is epic! Certainly not very discreet but didn't want something white/gray/black. I liked Ruby Star too but after seeing it in person and seeing Python Green at the dealer, the latter would have been the other option of my liking.

Have not been able to drive it a lot but some first impressions:

-Feels so much sportier and purposeful than my older F80 ZCP. I never truly loved that car and I already love this one. Traction is noticeably better than F80.
-Does feel a lot heavier than my E46 M3, albeit according to the Internet it's technically not much heavier. Maybe it's the size (especially the width) and engine placement that are throwing me off.
-Gearbox is a highlight for me. Love placement of lever, short and precise throws. Nice clutch weighting.
-Can't comment much on engine since I'm keeping it under 4K RPM but feels very NA (F80 turbo was a bit too much) and seems like the fun is just starting at 4K.
-Need to lower the tire pressures, currently set in the high 40s from dealer. I suspect it will improve dramatically some of the bumpiness and will reveal a rather compliant suspension.
-FAL is really helpful for me. My driveway is very tricky so FAL makes things so much easier.
-Pedals. Is it just me or is heel and toe not straightforward? I feel the brake pedal travel is VERY short and throttle placement is closer to the floormat. You can't really roll your foot.
-Backup camera quality is truly embarrassing! I hope 992.2 is upgraded and we can retrofit it. "McDonald's quality", says my kid.
-Love the wheels! I can lose a couple of lbs to offset the extra weight.
-Super happy with 4 way seats. As someone with a prior major back injury, nothing like a simple seat and a very small cushion. And having an 11y old, it's easy to slide them forward.
-Steering is much better than I thought. I had an Elise before, so that's my reference.
-First time trying Clearplex. I'll commute to the office once a week so hope it will save me some windshield replacement.
-Very easy to daily, ingress/egress, cabin noise etc.

Will report more as I put on the miles.

Beautiful car, that was among my top color choices but was NA as I ordered. I’m no cat hater, had some great pets as a kid, but boy have you seen what their claws do to car paint over time when they sit on your car? Yikes, made me cringe seeing this.

Worth noting this further confirms the PTV differential. I know there were some questions if this was carried over from 991.2 T’s.

But “the T is just a marketing gimmick, guys”
