I was lucky to get two T allocations and I went with leather and deviated stitching on both. I find the T package interiors to be too extreme: one is too subtle and the other too loud. I went for GT silver on one and Mamba Green on the other. Yellow, Blue, and Red all look great too. I much prefer the SporTex inserts without the pinstripes and the steering wheel and shifter boot stitching is a must. YMMV.
I couldn't agree more. Growing up as a teenager in the 80s, cars that did 180mph, 0-60 in 5.0 seconds, and did the 1/4mile under 13 seconds were SUPERCARS. Times change for sure. The modern T is quicker than my 80s heroes (288 GTO, Testarossa, 930 etc) while being reliable, useable and just plain fun. Quick and fast enough to get into very serious legal trouble but able to be exploited without having to rely on the safety nannies. The car has a balance that was not present in my teenage heroes. This is where it aligns so well with 911s of the past. It's cliche and overused but more than ever, less is more.

14 months into owning my 991.2 T (manual, RAS, Bose, 4-ways and nothing else) and I'm still in love. I believe the 992 version maintains most of the same attributes. It's a model that caught many by surprise, myself included.

GT Silver as well, satin black rims and sportex seats w/o package. Low optioned to save weight. Only bought one. 😁

Like the idea of homelink on the wheel. 👍

The T is far quicker than the 930 "widowmaker" I used to own, the 993 Turbo, and the 996 Turbo. I don't know many people who can drive a 400HP car at the limit, and less so 500HP. The point is not speed but fun and despite being a very quick car, it oozes fun reminiscent of older, more analog cars. I find it not far behind in entertainment value from the 7.2 GT3 in the twisties but the T can be daily'd. It's just perfection.

I was on the fence (maybe still am) about these. To me they just seem a little out of place (shiny) on a car that is so default "dark mode" with the trim accents.

Are you aware what comes with the T package? It’s just a minor stripe on the cloth. The cloth itself is exactly the same. The seatbelts you can order separately. I would advice you to skip the T package in slate grey unless you go for green. If you go for full leather with deviated stitching you will really have a perfect interior. All leather parts will be in this stitching color. Steering wheel and gear lever included. And you get the “992” logo on the headrest stitched in that color as well. You will not regret this.

And I see you made a mistake with your 4S not knowing what standard stitching means. When you order the fabric stitching in chalk you only get the upper part in chalk. Middle and lower parts in black. This has always been the case. I hope you don’t make the mistake twice. I think most people don’t have the T package. And most of them who did went for green for a reason.

Let me know what you think of this.

One is for turning off the parking sensors (sometimes it bleeps in places you don’t want this). The other one for auto start/stop. When the engine is cold I don’t want to go to sport mode and I just like pressing that button we paid for.

Ended up going with extended leather + deviated stitching in Guards Red (to match the exterior Guards Red), keeping the Sport-Tex seat centers. Also went with seat belts and Tach + Chrono in Guards Red. I think it’ll have just the right amount of stitching to act as contrast to the black interior. Can’t wait for my April delivery!!!

@wintershade These are pictures of my T with GT silver Deviated Stitching. It is much more pronounced than the standard Grey. This is the same as Wilder except I have the Vented seats which are leather, In the UK we get as Standard the Leather door cards and dash roll. You can also see how it stands out more on the steering wheel and the gearlever gaiter as opposed to Uhu's car. Hope this helps? If you can afford the additional expense, I would encourage you to go for the extended leather package and deviated stitching, to chose any colour that suits your external choice and that you like, and maybe match the rev counter and clock to suit?
Best Devon Racer.

I have the same feeling with the T that I had with my old air cooled cars. They are destined for greatness with collectors. They embody everything Porsche is known for. Winning.
