Found a very fun road near my grandmother's house. It's roads like these that 911s were made for. In about 10 days, my GoPro arrives and I'll take some video. She got thirsty after playtime.

There are many dealerships in Florida, heck the whole Southeast, and some will be better than yours. We noticed a marked difference in willingness to work with us dealing w/ the two outside of Boston, and the one in the more affluent area was more accommodating. I'd park myself at my desk and email, chat and call every dealer up the coast until you find one you are happy with....and to someone's earlier sage advice, tell this one to #@&% off.

Love it. These are the kind of mountain twisties we have in AZ. Frankly the main reason I bought the car.

This group is convincing me to say adios to these guys. Ive waited since I am a kid to buy a Porsche and never thought I would get here and now I am 47 and it should be a comfortable experience and an exciting one!

My point is don't be shy to travel to buy. I do that all the time. There are plenty of dealers that are willing to work with you. "The whole process thus far has been horrible, unfriendly, sketchy and really upsetting!" - you deserve better, especially for the first Porsche buying experience.

Me too. Where in AZ do you live? My parents are in Tucson so I'm there often.

I live in the Phoenix area, but I've got a few favorite loops that go out into the desert, the high country, or both. Typically ranging from 150-350 miles and covering some amazing tarmac. I've actually got a 600 mile route mapped out that goes through Tucson, I just haven't had time for that yet. Probably is a two day trip.

I'll post some routes when I get a chance to get on Maps. If you're ever out here and want to do some driving let me know! Some of these roads are fast... Very, very, fast.

I was on the list at 3 local dealers. The first dealer offered MSRP with watch and I laughed at them. 2 weeks later I got the call from Porsche Cherry Hill and they have been a pleasure to deal with. Zero BS, great sales guy, friendly staff, Msrp deal no strings attached. I take delivery of my car this week! It’s worth being patient and working with a company that treats you like a human.

Drove her home on Sat.
2024 911T
  • Gentian Blue
  • 7spd Man. Trans.
  • 20"/21" RS Spyder Design Wheels
  • Power Folding Ext. Mirrors
  • LCA
  • Surround View - which I really do like. Its too bad you cannot record video through these cams, that would be great. I've going to have to get cams for dash and rear that record. Ya just never know.
  • Under Door Puddle Light Projectors - which I never would have selected if they were not already part of the configuration that the original customer selected. They're pretty cool but I'd definitely not select them otherwise.
  • Some of the options that I've not listed are options that they charge but simply are not listed, i.e. seat warmers. I've gone through most of the car, to determine exactly what I ended up with in addition to what was listed on the sticker.
I'd ordered another car with fewer options, and I received a call from a local dealer. My wife and I went in and picked her up as is; the individual who ordered the vehicle originally backed out last min.
This car fits me like a glove. I love it more than I thought I would if you can imagine that.

I had a similar experience. The dealer made it sound like they were very special (no offense but that's what they projected) and they said I needed to pay an ADM but it would come within 3-4 months. I got the ADM down some. I called them again after we put the order in and said, I'd like to discuss the ADM again, it's too high what can we do. Absolutely "nothing" was what I received. I don't believe in Karma, but I wasn't going to give up easily. I'd been working with a half-dozen dealers, some in other neighboring states and no one had the car I wanted. I have a budget. About 5 days ago one of my local dealers calls and says, we have a car just like the one you wanted. It actually had what I wanted and more as I like the RS Spyder wheels and I wanted the LCA and surround view for safety and because it's easier for parking in our tight garage that can "barely accommodate" two cars. Turns out, this car had more options and it was less than my original build I had on order because the ADM was costing me. Paying the ADM is like burning money. It's not worth it to me and I'll never pay it. I'm elated to have been able to make this purchase. I love the car. I want to make a few mods but this is "my" car it is so perfect for me and the more I drive it the more I like it. I picked it up with 19miles and now it has 98miles on it. We've had some rain so I've refrained from driving in it till I get to know the car more. Happy New Year everyone!
