This past Saturday I was on a Fun Run out of Buffalo Porsche to Ellicottville (50 miles south typically) but the planner used Roads to plan an alternate much more fun route. At first the app wouldn't work bc of CarPlay but then it just started working with no input from me. Oh well, if blocked, just turn off CarPlay in Settings.

Hi @TUD you are correct that it is shown on the Configurator also I noticed on a USA you tube video with a Gulf Blue PTS colour press ca report posted back in Novewmber 2022, can't remember who by I am afraid? that the interior shots of that car shows a foot rest with allow trim. Perhaps Porsche have deleted it from production due parts supply or cost?

Before Roads and CarPlay it was "GTS by Porsche" or something like that, the predecessor app from Roads. Used it to see what fun routes others are taking, while booming through Black Forest.

This is disappointing....

About ten blemishes that look like overspray under the clear coat, so factory defect that require a respray to fix.

For some reason the Sinatra cufflinks story comes to mind. I don’t get the “never see rain” etc angle. But I sympathize, you should expect it to be perfect upon delivery, within reason.

It’s a wonderful car, but its a car, a month of use will render those imperfections moot? Just my thoughts…

Wow, That is really sad, How did this car leave the factory in that condition ?

I'm a pretty reasonable guy but expect better than this. It's 2023. We have the technology to nearly eradicate these types of manufacturing imperfections.

Exactly. For decades Porsche has been selling the idea that cars are road tested and inspected with a white glove before they leave the factory.

I have a T on order. I don't know what I would do if mine comes in needing a complete paint job....I'm not sure I could take delivery. Its just not right, after waiting and waiting for this awesome car and then this happens. I feel very sorry for you, hang in there and Good Luck...

I don't agree with the idea that it will look the same after you put xx miles on it... You aren't buying a used car, you should expect one that is factory fresh. Some may promptly take their T off roading, on a track or through the rain...but others will park it in their living room. The problem is, what is the right solution. Painting multiple panels on a new car wouldn't be acceptable either for me.

From memory mine started build around 10th April but was really lucky with transport and the ferry coming across. Biggest delay was waiting for it to be collected from Sheerness. Fingers crossed yours gets over quickly. What’s your spec look like?
Mine is 201662, built mid April and delivered mid June, but we know that I was stuck in the distribution maze.

This is my first 911 for over 50 years last was a factory collection in 1970.
My spec is Ice Grey Metallic MT couldn't make my mind up on RAS but eventually decided against even though Andrew Frankel (Motor Sport & Autocar) and Stuart Gallagher (Evo) swore by it! Dropped Power steering Plus Kept FAL included Exclusive tail lights, Sports Design Side Skirts and front spoiler in exterior colour, 4 way ventilated seats, interior trim package in exterior colour (maybe a mistake ? WAIT AND see), also stitching in GT Silver with seat belts in silver grey, rev counter and chrono in white. Hopefully this will brighten the interior. Incidentally I am a little older than Barkat03 but had my first 911 just a bit older than Vernin.
Hopefully end August / early September delivery. Now perhaps oldest on the "T" forum?
@Devon Racer that’s an interesting spec, can’t wait to see those collection pictures, Ice Grey Met is a cool colour.

Are there any gold colored oem wheels that would fit the T? I have GT silver with gloss black and really like them but a spare set on gold would be amazing I think!
