thx.
Great set, covering the history of 911 with lots of pics and short descriptions in 5 languages, see example:

this pic reminds me of my trip to Tuscany in July 23. My 992T looks very similar to this 4S and I have visited half of those towns listed on the board

It's the same with the one I bought, down to the sticker on the cover. So, there is no "German/English" edition after all, the ISBN is the same for everyone.
Mine is still in the "shrink wrap" (but went through the one displayed at the museum's shop), because I located a "collector's edition"...if delivered, then the one bought in Stuttgart will make a fine Christmas present.

My 992 T arrived two days ago, I originally got the allocation in July.

We had a bit of a warm spell in Montana, so it allowed me to take out the car on winter tires.

Did it come with the clear turn side indicators? Option? DIY?

I had to request it from the dealer, they ordered and installed it post-delivery. I believe it's a fairly easy DIY job though and you can get the part from a place like Suncoast.

I wonder if they made it that easy to swap in and out, because they knew the vast majority of folks in the US were going to swap it out.

Likely so you can change the bulb/light quickly in case they burn out.

Been that way for decades. Same at BMW. Believe it or not our amber side markers are currently popular in the EU or so I have read in the BMW forums.

We always want what we do not have.

@heyadam : Chalk looks awesome!

@Wilder : Great to see some more/better shots of your current/black T....it's gorgeous! I really wish Porsche had offered the "T" interior package with GT silver stitching as I love the stripes in the seats. Having said that, the T-interior means no coloured stitching on steering wheel or shifter. Decisions, decisions.
