Ha! I received my pics (3) on 11.08. It entered production on 11.02. The assembly line is idle on weekends. The car recently arrived at port. ETA is currently the 2nd week of January. No hurry so long as it arrives to the U.S. port and my dealer unscathed.

In their 2018 issue the GT2RS was the only 911 entered. The GT3RS and 991.2 Carrera T were not. I still think it was an oversight.
Winner: GT3 RS, or the M3 CS.

I’m not sure on the RS….maybe “too much”. M3CS definitely a possibility. I actually think the T has a strong chance as does the Civic R. Accessible performance and engagement on the road without driving like your hair is on fire.

EDIT with my prediction:
1. Carrera T
2. Civic Type R
3. M3 CS
4. GT3RS
5. 750S
6. Sterrato
7. Alpine
8. DB12
9. Maserati

Well whatever EVO magazine makes of the T there’s no doubt what an even more influential magazine makes of it…

Wheel/rim colour is a personal preference. I prefer the lighter colour.

Ruby star neo and agate grey accents looks nice.

MOTOR TREND mag - circulation 551k
EVO magazine - circulation 43k

So which would you say has more influence??

On circulation you are most correct. I do, however, feel that a much larger portion of EVO readers are far more likely to be "end users" of the cars they review. I also feel that the EVO staff has historically been more likely to tap into what a car is all about. Just my personal opinion, apologies if it felt like a personal attack.

One problem with that logic. Motor Trend’s reputation/credibility within the U.S. has been $hit since the mid to late 90s. They became “has beens” in comparison to Car and Driver and Road & Track. All three are mediocre at best anymore.

It would be kind of weird if EVO don’t include the T in at least the list of finalists, don’t you think??
Throughout this year we’ve all read the 39 (and counting) TV and mag reviews saying it’s the sweet spot of non GT 992’s.
Even EVO said so!!
Their review concluded that T was the best 992 you can buy…

I'd like to read this when it's out. Is it online? Please post back here when it's out.
